  7. I have one, not sure if it's worth the shipping though. It's rust free but has a decent dent in it. Ill post a pic when I'm back in Calgary.
  8. Sorry i guess i should of been more clear. I would just be getting the R&P from someone. Cuase they are going to 4.88s But if i can get the whole Assembly that would be pretty darn nifty.
  9. I can atest to the ax5 being a good trany. I ran out of oil in mine once driving down the hwy.got home toped and it been fine with no issues ever since.
  10. My dana44 has 3.07.sooo yes? I'm probably going to do it myself with help from one of the guys in my local jeep club.
  11. I'm just going to post this here instead of starting another thread. Will the 4.10 gears out of a tj Rubicon with a dana 44 fit in my mj dana44. This is for the rear axle. Thanks.
  12. How ever your axle do need to have the same ratio in them, or else you're in for a bumpy ride.
  13. They have 410s. Thats why I'm grabbing them.
  14. I see a lot of post about how people are saying that either the state the community league are telling them that they can't have what ever junk vehicle on their drive way. is that a common thing in america? cause I see it quite frequently where I've lived.
  15. I'm aware of that, but the price is right for now, and it's bolt in for the front.
  16. There is a ZJ at the JY with a 35 that has disks so maybe. Also the front axle ill be getting is a 98 TJ with 4:10s.
  17. worried how? won't your rpm drop at higher speed with larger tires?
  18. ok, so I have in my possession an MJ Dana 44 with 3.07 and lsd. but it needs a full break rebuild, as all there is a backing plate nothing else, it also would need a re-gear to 4.10's for my current plans I also have a ram 1500 9.25 with 4.10 and either a lsd or locker (guy I bought it off of said it has one or the other. I've tested and it does have one or the other) but the bolt pattern is 5 5x5, but apparently 79 axle which has 5 5x4.5 will fit my late 90's housing, it also need brake work, but just hard line and shoes, it currently have perches set up for an XJ so those will have to be moved. so I'm just looking for opinions on which you guys would use? thanks edit, I opened it up today. it has whatever the factory 9.25 traction control was.
  19. I've never seen a roof like that on a comanche before.
  20. as far as I know you'll either have to pull some "new" ones out of a JY MJ, or fab up your own.
  21. Hooked it over the stock bumper mounting brackets and then bent some scrap steel to hold it down to the bottom of the brackets. thank you.
  22. COROLLA :D I swear my opinion isn't bias but In truth both of the toyota my family has owned have been good to us. we only ditched our 89 tercel at 300k cause someone rear ended my dad and killed the car(this was about 11years ago though). and my corolla has been trouble free for the three months that i've had it, and i may or may not drive like a race car since it's the best handling car i own. but really any late 80's to mid 90's japanese car in decent shape is a good buy, at least in my experience.
  23. how much did you have to modify for it to fit?
