They both went out at the same time where are the relays located are they the ones by the starter solenoid in the engine compartment

Both the power locks and windows ARE factory ( no holes in the door panels and I've had the panels off and no rivet marks where the manual regulator would have been installed) . I'm the second owner of the truck with only 65k on the speedo . all windows and lock work correctly with a 12v system hooked up the them directly but when plugged in to the vehicles wiring harness the passenger window neither goes up or down from either switch and the door locks lock from either switch but will not lock . As far as pics I normally can post them but being they don't host pics here it's hard for me to do it with my phone .

Daveys has a 89 eliminator 4.0 4wd 96 driveline with only 39k needs rear driveshaft and some interior pieces 4200 3303375037

I have an 88 Comanche with original power windows and locks . The left window works as it should , the door locks work in the lock position but not the unlock if you wire them directly to a battery they all work correctly with them unhooked from the vehicle Just wondering if anyone has experienced this and fixed it . The regulators and lock actuators are from a 96 60 k mile Cherokee and both switches are nos . Btw how common are factory power windows / power locks in a Comanche as I have not seen any others in my area with them .

That's an aftermarket one ,not original .

If you guys have a sport/ roll bar mount the light to that it's much easier a little modification is needed but it's much better

If you have burnt wires I would definitely start there . Even though there separated your asking for trouble . Start with the obvious and go from there

I had a buddy that installed glass he did whatever I asked him to do they were the same price except for the addition of the molding . You could go to a jy and get the other two moldings . Do you have the clips to retain the steel trim peices ?

Regardless of the year all windshields are interchangeable . All you need to do is order one for a 96 Cherokee and make sure you get the gasket also . If you order an old windshield and a new gasket it will be to big for the opening . Also the tab for the rear view mirror will be different so you'll have to get one of those also

I have a mini console in mine just for the4wd shifter . There are two separate plates one for tranny and one for 4wd I'd be interested in the column if your sellin maybe we can horse trade if you need something I have your only an hour away

What's a matter with the column? I think you got all the parts you need covered

I don't recall whistling coming out of mine . Check your vacuum / emissions hoses and routing to make sure there correct

Make sure the ball joints are tight . Putting that in replacing a worn out ball joint could throw it out even more

That's is the hose that comes out of the charcoal canister . That is how it's supposed to be

You can remove the emission light by removing the small round stocker on the emission timer and move the wire out of the way of the contact point and it will turn the light off . And yes the other remix era will plug right in. I have one

Is it clocked differently ?

Shot in the dark ??? Check the main harness plug for the tail lights at the rear bumper?

Unbolt the arm, then rent a ball joint press and press the bushings back in

As far as ride goes I like the firm ride ( as I think all bilsteins are stiff shocks) but ive had them on several vehicles and they last longer IMO than other shocks

Long story short: I looked up the Monroe part number for the rear shock at the part store I worked at then I looked through all the applications until I found something that had factory bilsteins as shocks . It was a ranger ( I believe early 2000s if iirc) checked the extended and closed lengths ( spot on ) except when I got it the lower bushings for the rear shocks had a steel sleeve in them so I got a set of bushings and swapped them out . The fronts are easy look up the same year Cherokee( xj ) front number is 24-010450 and rears are 24-196277

Do you have a lift or is it normal ride height because I have bilstein 46oo series on the front and rear of my Comanche ( normal height) and still have the boxes with part numbers
