  1. Got a pic of where it goes? I probably got one...somewhere.
  2. I got mine from Randys ring and pinion, talked to a tech guy, he knew exactly what I was talking about.
  3. Graduated Chief Dull Knife College in Lame Deer MT in May 2011 with an AA degree. Currently working at the college as the Science Paraprofessional, am doing research work on a metagenomic DNA survey on the Tongue river; a West Nile Virus mosquito study, teach lab skills to science interns, etc, etc. Transferring to UM in Missoula MT in the fall to start my Bachelors program in Resource Conservation. Non traditional student, will be 49 in April.

  5. The trouble is with the media (TV) they sensationalize for ratings and to sway their political agenda. I think acts of terrorism and events like Sandyhook should only be seen in print.
  6. Think it needs to be put out to pasture at Jim's, just like an old nag that worked her whole life and has earned a rest. Or just put a bullet in her.
  7. Sorry, but the one I have laying around without a match is for the left side.
  8. I might have one laying around, not sure if it is L or R though. I'll check when I get home.
  9. Impossible to lick your elbow....
  10. I was offered $3K for my (rust free, but far from pristine) Chief and turned it down... :wall: actually I was BSn with a guy and threw out a $# and he said OK He said he never seen an MJ before and wanted it. Would have took the money but I knew I could never replace it for what I have in it (time and money).
  11. Just kidding, if it is really a Jeep bumper and not an aftermarket like a FEY bumper, and if it is as good as you say it is... I'd say start at a couple hundred bucks for a purist who needs a stock bumper.
  12. Tail lights going for over $400 on ebay, that bumper should go for over a grand...easy.
  13. Never did the cars much, still manage to launch estess rockets couple times a year. Much more exciting than a car that just sits there. Matter of fact I've gone to the local middle school and launched rockets, great tool to get students interested in math and science. The launch is an example of newtons first law... Then some simple math (from the Estess web site) can be used to find altitude. Couple pics of my daughter launching rockets. Image Not Found Image Not Found
  14. Still looking
  15. Price go down...? Before you attempt the fix? Or before you tell the seller so the price don't go up?
  16. don't throw the old one away.... Take it apart and replace the cable....seen a write-up somewhere.
  17. I'd give $2900 for that....
  18. Or if your blind...
  19. :rotfl2:
  20. Too fast, too close, too much dust, don't sound like much fun at all...sounds like you and your buddies should all get lights. Then I'll be sure and have plenty of time to get out of your way cause I'll have seen you coming from 4mi down the creek..lol
  21. Geez... I wanted one but not that bad...!!
  22. Always wanted to build something that wasn't "cookie cutter", after I lost my job and the bank took the Rubicon back.... Still wanted a Jeep so I started with a "poor mans Jeep" a 2dr XJ, then came across an MJ (the 88), I knew this was it for me. As stated before, the trucks are old, had a limited production run and have tons of parts and support. I told the GF about the person who wanted to trade a newer XJ for an MJ, told her that I was entertaining the idea, couldn't fool her, she knew that after all the time money and effort I put into the Chief, she knew that I'd never part with either of my MJs. And like my Harley, you just can't beat the "American made" "cool factor".
