I have a similar one and there is no glare. It’s seems like it’s a softer light than your typical head lamp. lf you have to focus on something l like the spot style better but if you’re just working in general area and don’t need to focus on any one thing it works good.

The first vehicle my wife and I bought newer than a 2000 was a 2018 Hyundai Accent SE with a stick. The only “new” technology that car has is a back up camera and Bluetooth. We always had XJ’s and ZJ’s before that since 2001.

Good call. I was on my way home the other night and there was a guy standing at the entrance of a shopping plaza holding his cell phone up with it’s light on in one hand and a set of jumper cables in the other. I turned around and he was parked at the back of the parking lot with a dead horse. He was out there in 10 degree darkness for an hour before l stopped.

4 cylinder would make up in handling what it loses in power. Way better balanced.

I have 12 years on an AO Smith heater, it’s on it’s 3rd thermostst. Otherwise it’s been good.

Early 99’s had a distributor. I had 3 99’s 2 had distributors.

XJ’s are the best suvs ever made for the working man. There is nothing built as well or as useful or has the longevity of an Renix or HO XJ. I got 453k out of my 98 on the original motor. First gear started poping out at 340k so I swapped a 120k ax15 in and that was both were still working good when I scrapped it. Totally rotten, nothing salvageable on the body. Axles were both worn out.
