  1. did those 2 rust-free comanches I bought from you get shipped out before the crash?
  2. before you get too obsessed with de-cluttering your engine bay, you might want to learn what each thing does. some are more important than others.
  3. I adapted my steel line to the plastic line using a 1/4"-to-5/16" plumbing adapter. they are never to be used on brake lines, but clutch lines run on way less pressure (no booster). been running it like that since 03.
  4. you can't. :D they have to have a little fluffy guy/gal or their own.
  5. south east corner of Michigan :waving:
  6. same here. Carly wouldn't take people food if you offered it to her. Perri was that way too. goooooood doggies. :D
  7. also, be prepared for the possibility that the bolt has rust-fused itself to the steel bushing in the rubber bushing.
  8. I wouldn't even try to reuse them. they are the same bolt as the lower control arm bolts on the front. I've found those to be in better shape at the junkyard than the ones in the leaf springs.
  9. how are your wheel bearings?
  10. junkyard axles with better gear ratio are by far the cheapest and easiest bang for your buck if you want better acceleration (especially if you have the 3.07s). instant seat of your pants difference.
  11. I told you you'd like it. :D a HUGE thanks to all that showed up to hang out for the weekend and whip my trucks into shape.
  12. ...you drive hundreds of miles to work on someone else's MJ.
  13. I don't doubt that for a minute. :rotf:
  14. I thought the '88 2.5 had the AW-4?
  15. vroooooom-vroooooooooommmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. do you have an inline 6 in your Jeep?
  17. will update once I can get photos from my camera.
  18. aftermarket rims have less backspacing (5.25" is stock, 4" is a typical aftermarket) and stick the tires out more. personally I would stick with jeep rims with 30s or 31s and stock height, and then put out some bucks for a pair of spidertrax wheel spacers for the rear so the rear tires will visually match the fronts. (the rear of an MJ is wider than the front which is why the rear tires tuck in so much). but to each his own. :D
  19. heck no. that would make sense. and we can't have that in Sony-land.
  20. ...still missing my camera cable... :fs1:
  21. I've got 31s on stock Jeep rims under my stock 90 with only minor rubbing on the lower control arms. Fixed that with some WJ arms.
  22. ya know what grinds my gears? bad synchros. sorry, had to do it. :D I would hunt down replacement parts. but then, the dent in my dakota where that corvette hit my bed was repaired and looks factory even 6 years later.
  23. 95-01 8.8s are all the same. even v6 and v8 ones are the same inside, just with different brackets on the outside. I would plan on wheel spacers, not necessarily because the 8.8 is a hair more narrow than a Dana 35 (5/8"), but because the bed of an MJ is wider than the front of a comanche and it will pull the tires out from under the rear fenders and make it look normal. do not go cheap on wheel spacers. get only the best. you can also try to find a cherokee 8.25 rear axle with 4.10s and then convert it to disks using various methods. find a Dana 30 with 4.10 gears. car-part.com can help with scouring junkyards
  24. wish you were here. :D got a decent amount of work done on the 90. still have electrical and a floor to create. and tweaking the exhaust so it doesn't interfere with the shocks.
