looks like rob beat me to it. :D our forum software isn't the best and so sometimes people fall through the cracks. anyone that ever has issues with signing up needs only to let one of us know and we'll take care of it manually. :thumbsup:
you need to have someone saw the wheel back and forth while you crawl under and watch/feel for sloppiness. :thumbsup: could be anything in the steering or trackbar.
um, ever hear of a floor mat? lol. I'm been in lots of mud. carpet is still as it was when I bought the truck (oily, stained and disgusting, but not muddy :D ) I haven't had mud flow into the truck though as some have.

because it has no insulation in it. it'll be fuzzy on your feet, but there's nothing in it to keep heat at bay. the insulating padding under the stock Jeep carpet is the key. the thick rubber backing on the stock carpet also helps.
your cheapest route might be to get a carpet from a junkyard MJ and power wash it at the carwash. then add in aftermarket insulation.
