As I understandd it, they are using the 4.0 throttle body and putting the 2.5s injector assembly on it. The 4.0 has a larger diameter hole for more airflow. :thumbsup:

fwiw, 33s are less of a headache and only lose 1" of ground clearance vs 35s. :thumbsup: I don't know of any junkyard options to gain an inch on 4.0/stick rear driveshaft. :dunno:

it's always a good strength upgrade :thumbsup: , but isn't really needed in an MJ until 6+, and even then some guys don't have them. we have a much longer wheelbase than wranglers and cherokees and so we don't suffer the sharp driveline angles that they do. but you will want a longer driveshaft at 4+. unless you upgrade the rear axle (which I highly recommend if you want big tires), which the new axle will have a longer snout on it and so balance out the height. what are you doing for gears and axles? oh, and welcome to the club! :waving:

if you have a 4.0, the upper bolts will be the reverse torx head bolts so be prepared. I'm thinking they are an E-12 size? Whatever they are, do yourself a favor and DON'T reuse them. at the very least get normal hex heads, but I recommend getting studs for the upper bolts. that way they work as a guide for re-installation. :thumbsup:

Mech fans pull a great deal of air. sure this one will substitute? might work better as an aux fan. and don't assume it'll fit. our radiators are pretty dang short from top to bottom. :( .
