yeah, I thought that about MJs too... until Don should me that there are caster adjusting shims in the body side lower control arm mounts.

I fixed the spelling. yup. 2 front outputs and one rear output.

think of it this way, if you rotated the axle 180* til it was entirely upside down, the camber would be the opposite (positive 1.6*) that it is now (-1.6*). so any rotation (i.e. the change in caster angle) short of that will change it slightly. did they adjust anything or just check the alignment?

every time I crack open the paperbacks I'm reminded of 15-20 years ago when I would type out huuuuuge sections of it to try and help MJ owners with their problems. the internet just wasn't the same back then. now I can just copy/paste a youtube link or the DIY master list.

gotcha. I didn't look beyond the thumbnail and that super steep hoodline. the trapezoidal flares are definitely a Jeep hallmark.

do not use a lower temp thermostat. the t-stat is for quickly heating up the engine and once it's open, it's open and does not affect cooling.

a quick check shows that the 2011ish Durango R/T and Grand Cherokee with the hemi comes in under your price range.

flange adapter. one from an Aerostar van has the correct ujoint size. (crown vic might too. haven't thought about this for a while)
