it is ABSOLUTELY a worthwhile upgrade. Will it fix your problems? can't say for sure.
If your pump was backwards it would overheat all the time.
if it's ok on the freeway, but runs hot when stationary, that sounds like an airflow issue to me.
not new, but in decent shape. I've been trying for a while now to get a factory one, and eventually had to settle for the offbrand one in the trailer. If there's a closer one that is in my meager price range I'm all ears.
get in touch with Kryptronic. He's been swamped at work lately, but when he gets some free time I imagine he can whip up some code that auto-saves all those pics you've already linked to imger
so there's a factory bedliner on the in Victoria, BC that I would very much like for my 88's restoration. any chance that we could put together a chain to get it closer to me? I'm expecting a trip to Colorado in the fall, but all the way to Washington is too much. at the very least I'd need someone that can grab it and bring it across the Canadian border while I figure out a plan.
thoughts?
awesome find!
one of the most important things is to keep water from infiltrating the cab. every single hole should be suspect (glass seals, hvac seal, fuseblock, door gaskets, etc).
