looks like a solid "upgrade" truck assuming it's possible (given that you have all of the parts on hand), I'd probably swap over the entire XJ guts and swap the suspensions around in the MJs so your original MJ can be passed on to someone else looking for a body for a crazy build. not everyone peruses the projects thread each day so your tech questions should go in the Tech forum so more eyes will see 'em.

It's for my buddy's 250. we can't seem to find them used and they are 150 new. he's got the rest of the harness right up to that plug.

you could also use poly spacers to adjust the height.

totally understand that. doing the basic trimming uses about 3/4 of the battery so it works out well for us.

I don't know how well it translates to mini-chainsaws, but I've been very pleased with our 40v Kobalt weedwacker. would never go back to gas. having said that, I have a Stihl chainsaw and love it too.

I own hundreds of 12 inchers. but I don't "collect" them, I rescue them. most are classical tunes, but there are also others. my favorites are the old blues and rock albums.

even if the cables are new, the contact points could be corroded. cleaning grounds is never a bad thing.

corrosion in the cables and at the connection points can kill the voltage too. don't forget to upgrade those parts when you install the bigger alt.

I used a simple angle grinder to lop off the extra metal bushing. it's not a complicated procedure. the steel bushings just need to be trimmed flush with the rubber bushing. be sure to cool the part so the rubber bushing doesn't get too baked.

people suck. that is always a risk. a TJ hood should be way easy to remember. open top Jeeps are so freakin' rare in the 'yards that I instantly gravitate towards any I see.

before your photo I had never even seen a Liberty painted up as a cop car before so I've got no idea if there is anything special about it.

I'm certainly willing to have an extra list on my phone when I hit the pullaparts stuff I'm currently looking for: 4.10 geared axles from a 4banger gas 03-06 Liberty factory trailer harness for a 02-04 Superduty (just the rear most bit that has a like foot-long pigtail and the 7pin/4-pin connectors mounted on the bumper) what parts are you guys hoping to locate?

2 weekends ago I drove from atlanta to detroit and this weekend I drove back. the normal path looks like this: and this is the route I took this trip: Ever since Don passed away I've been trying my hardest to meet up with fellow MJ nuts at every opportunity and this last minute trip north I got to hang a bit with Bo, Scott, Will on the way up and then Ron, and Adam on the way down. good times guys. the visits were too short though. We need more PowWows! that way I can drive to a single location. lol.
