  1. thanks everyone! got the info I needed and now I get to win an argument with strangers on the internet. Just kidding. but I do feel like I can make a difference to anyone else that might be reading the topic. Accuracy counts.
  2. score! man, when does car show season start up again!
  3. it was at Walmart I like that the main gun has an orange cap. just in case you confused it with a real tank.
  4. can you email me the fullsize image? I can't quite read what our site has shrunken and saved.
  5. Just looking for some evidence, one way or the other. can't really use car-part.com as an outright bible, it's just a reference. really wish I had a paper 86 parts manual.
  6. and another from 89's Baja 1000, this time covering Rob MacCachren
  7. wouldn't the superduty have the metric bolt pattern? It's not un-overcomable, but still irritating that Ford did that.
  8. 1988 Baja 1000 coverage. I'm sure there's more MJ in the video, but I cut to the point where they show Mike Lesle and his MJ
  9. I mean, seriously? a friggin' powerwheels tank!
  10. the Slime kit on the right is friggin' awesome. the other kit sucks. and I mean suuuucks. looks like the same kit as harbor freight. It's an older kit I had and bent the thing trying to repair the tire in the R/T. dug my Slime kit out of the Libby and finished up the job no problemo. some things in life are just worth the extra couple bucks.
  11. can you screenshot a page? car-part.com does not list such a thing and my parts manual only goes back to 87.
  12. best shot is an 86. anyone got one? got a build sheet? anything int he chrysler computers?
  13. we could do that. feel free to seek out and collect the links for future moving

do it! you won't regret it!
  15. ran all the scrap into town today. lots and lots of dead weight I don't need lying around. got a whole $5 for it. man have steel prices dropped. not much in the way of progress, but I did manage to install the t-case skidplate.
  16. maaaaaaan that looks relaxing...
  17. there are a dozen things it can snag on as you lift and carry, so go slow.

  19. I bought the best quality 8" sub I could afford, and in the tiniest box I could find, and fed it hundreds and hundreds of watts of power... and it was fantastic. you don't need much in that tiny cab. at one point in time I also had 6x9s in little boxes too, but they were worthless after getting the sub so I removed them for the extra space.
  20. I'm used to the freeze/thaw cycle causing that in michigan on some of the more poorly built roads, but I've never seen anything even close to that high.
  21. how does that even happen?

10 total posts and the classifieds will open up to you also check car-part.com for junkyard searches
  23. you should post those up in the Tech forum
  24. as a temporary solution (sometimes), you can touch the smooth side with a bar of soap while it's running. did this to my minivan for a couple years straight. finding what's squeaking and replacing that item is generally a better choice.
  25. if the painting is teh only thing that has changed, I'm inclined to think it's related. over spray of a clearcoat would be harder to spot than color.
