  1. if anyone needs a higher resolution image, send me an email addy via a private message and a list of which pages.
  2. can you snap a pic of what you do have?
  3. and my favorite thing that I'm super bummed I don't get to keep:
  4. test drive up to 30mph complete. nothing blew up or fell off! there's some scuffing sound when I pull a hard left turn. guessing that's a brake dust shield that needs to be tweaked. all in all it felt good and absorbed the bumps quite nicely. since it insists on raining all day again I think I'll park it and look into that noise another time. Happy so far
  5. awww, a hunter green too.
  6. I was thinking either that or inside during a garage fire. looks more like it was baked at 750* for 30 minutes rather than set ablaze via the usual manners. looks like it has a lift kit. also, where are the knuckles?
  7. can you strap the new bed on top of the old?
  8. I saw his post on FB and he was insisting that photo is of the test phase. I've not yet seen a pic of a finished product.
  9. the little swing arm should be just above the 3oclock position when viewed from the rear bumper.
  10. if you want old-school looks with bluetooth, Minuit is adding AUX ports to the old radios and then you just need to add a bluetooth dongle to it and BAM you've got it all. I'm rockin' a '92 XJ unit in my '06 Liberty. note the charging cable for my phone. since I needed to add in a USB charger in the dash for the dongle I choose, I got a double-outlet and now I can charge while I rock out.
  11. I think you got it right. shows 1 of 11 in the corner. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5xexv-dMrM&list=PL4sfVCWR8nGJ0iZTaheuqSoZ2JC16JEBp one of the best movies of all time right there
  12. I can smell that through my screen.
  13. radiator and hoses would be on my list. maybe even the water pump too since they are pretty cheap.
  14. I get roughly 3.25"x6.5" inner dimensions (that's where my comanche trailer is cut so I can see the cross section).
  15. can't imagine it'd be much different than any other Chevy v8. Novak should have some data on it. you sure there's not one in the Epic Tech forum? I swear I've heard of someone on CC swapping one in.
  16. yup. looks like a new clutch line is in your future. as it turns out you don't actually need the clutch pedal to drive. turn off truck, put it in first, crank the engine and the starter will pull the truck forward and it'll fire up and go. be prepared for it to fire and go. then you just need to match rpms to shift. the biggest hassle is having to turn the truck back off at a stop light to repeat the procedure when the green flashes. drove my '90 home from Ohio this way. the guy I just bought it from said it had a leak but would go all week before needing to top off. it of course lasted about 10 miles.

    how's the bed? any rust?
  18. 97+ XJ mirrors bolt in and are bigger. though they may interfere slightly with the window trim in the corner.
  19. daaaaaaaaamn... I bet that looks good in the sunshine
  20. possibly the insane illegality of it all. Literally everything they rent is a better tow vehicle than a 30 year old MJ.
  21. the 30 ft Uhaul truck can't tow it, but your comanche can? this seems like a very poor idea.
