  2. the epoxy in the "barn" is going on a decade old and still looks good. the only real problem is that location that were oil spots previously weren't properly cleaned (I had nothing to do with this project) and some of the paint has come up from those places.
  3. is it a 23 gal tank?
  4. I like that idea way better than bedliner. you can repair things simply by pulling off the wrap and replacing it once fixed.
  5. not to replace the mech one, I mean adding an factory AUX fan.
  6. XJ springs are shorter in length and using them brings it's own set of issues to overcome. You'll have to retain your MJ mains to locate the axle and you'll need to properly support it. So if you took a full XJ pack, cut the eyes off, and slapped that under an MJ main, you might have something. being made entirely of used leafs there's no exact prediction about the lift involved. I've got no idea what an XJ pack is rated for in weight carrying capacity.
  7. or if you're referring to the paper version, sometimes it's behind the drivers door card, sometimes in the underside of the seat, or maybe even behind the rear wall panel. and I swear there's another option but it eludes me right now.

    Grab Handles

the CC has their own mobile version of the site. It's just not an outright app. plus then your signature would look right and not have the tapatalk address string. and speaking of your signature link, do you still have any of the old photos from the start of your build? most of the links are dead.
  9. with the extra axle is it then a Cheromanchemanche?
  10. did you try bleeding air out the temp sensor at the back of the head?
  11. chances are this will be a quick-n-dirty trip, not like my usual adventures. but in the future I still plan on a trip out to Cali where I can wander more along the way.
  12. the Dallas area I believe
  13. I only stopped by to get an ECU (which in hindsight I never actually got) and the wild goose chase of looking for my missing mini socket set. not my fault the Jeeps appeared the day before.
  14. I know there's a bit of road still to go, but have you thought about what projects you're going to do inside first?
  15. deal of the day, I skimmed through the receipt and it appears she rang up my header panel as a "headlamp bezel" for a price of $6.60.

    Grab Handles

I think all of my MJs had the handle. I looked up CGX on the code sheet and, while X doesn't exist, the rest of the CG* section deals with seatbelts.
  17. spring-over gives about 6" so be prepared to spend some cash on the front.
  18. been reselling on ebay. problem is I've misplaced the hardware for a bunch of the hooks and had to stop. now I can sell one.
  19. these ones? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Daystar-Extended-Bump-Stops-for-Jeep-Cherokee-Grand-Cherokee-Wrangler-1984-2006/152817419479?fits=Model%3ACherokee|Make%3AJeep&epid=251951920&hash=item2394a0c4d7:g:B-wAAOSw2eNesL6W
  20. what size tires? tire size determines it more than the lift (stock tires on a 3" lift won't hit anything)
  21. Couldn't grab the trans and then completely forgot to snag the console , but figured I'd let you guys know about ''em. the mini console apparently works great with bench seats and has a cupholder
  22. can't find my little socket set so I went back with zero glimmer of hope that I may have left it in a Jeep and someone turned it in, but also wanting those Ram rims after I saw one sell for 200 bucks on ebay. never found the sockets and only one of the rims was nice, but I did luck out on 2 beat up XJs so I got a 97 header, 90 cluster, skyjack coils and lower arms, KJ hooks, and an AX-15 crossmember and shifter (it was 2wd and I didn't have my E-12 socket so I left the rest). so no bueno on the sockets, but overall a good day.
  23. I could technically see canada across the detroit river from the roof of my old house (with binocs) long live the 19 year old drinking age!
