stock rims with no spacers can see 31"x10.5" tires rubbing on the control arms at full turn. add aftermarket arms (usually round) and 33"x10.5" and it probably won't be that bad? but still possible. the steering stops can be adjusted if necessary.

I'm known for doing just that. you can try using a harbor freight car dolly and putting it under that corner.

where are you located?

I have the same drivetrain and 33s in my 88 and it is... ok. wish it was 4.56. be prepared that rim width and backspacing make a world of difference in trying to fit 33s without major surgery.

if there's a hardware store near you, you miiiight be able to compare the nut to what they have on hand.

these days aftermarket rotors tend to come brand new already at their minimum thickness. don't be surprised if it measures as a bit "less than ideal". rule of thumb, if it looks to your eye like a normal rotor's thickness and the surface is smooth, it's good to go.

that's not true anymore. there are others available too. it's a bit freaky to have choice when it comes to something that literally didn't exist just a couple years ago. the first one I went with ended up falling apart because it relied on a plastic bit shoved onto another plastic bit to hold it all together. the second one was one of the cheaper versions and it has a positive clamp on the top and bottom of the pump. it has a cheaper pump in it, so I'm not 100% certain it's the best choice overall, but it can't fall apart.

once she's up and running you should take both to the car shows.

while you've got the front end jacked up, rotate the tires around and around and listen for wheel bearings. also shake the tire with your hands at the top and bottom, then the sides to check for any play.

anyone used the 92+ switch and pigtail to fix an 86-91 with a melted plug? it feels like it's more or less the same thing but with different colored wires.

an 03 wrangler has comparable length cables to ours? I did a rough measurement under my truck and got close to 50" end to end of the actual internal cable. is that what we're measuring or is it the outer sheath?

definitely on the to-do list for this truck I'm working on. worth it simply for never having to risk life and limb reaching up in the dash to disconnect the cable. gotta wait until the owner's budget is ready though. we blew way too much cash fixing the previous-owner-caused issues. by then we should be ready for some 6.5 speaker brackets too.
