  1. you don't necessarily need a great condition wheel. I wrapped mine with a wheel leather kit back in the late 90s. heck, you could wrap the stock 2-spock for something truly unique.
  2. in my batch of nos door panels I've got 2 maroon base vinyls that differ only in the line patterns on them.
  3. my head hurts from this cold and I haven't slept well in a week (puppy sitting plus my pop is in the hospital again) and I can't find the thread where we were talking about seats over the years so here's some pics from the brochures and someone else can find where they go. still have to track down my 88, 89, and 92 1986
  4. remember that longbed and shortbed OEM bars are different. aftermarket bars tend not to care because they mount in a different location
  5. what's the backside of the cluster look like? they are known for corrosion issues.
  6. always pick a hose, undo it, and fill from there. there might be a writeup on bleeding the system in the link in my signature. it's pretty straight forward. park the truck downhill, lowly undo the sensor juuuust enough for air to escape while the cold engine is running. do not do this if the engine is hot because there's a risk of completely unscrewing the sensor and you don't want a hot coolant shower. :L a variation on that is to completely remove the sensor while filling from a hose and hold that hose higher than the sensor opening so eventually coolant will come out the sensor hole.
  7. no one is filling from that tiny hole. at least I hope not. it is used for burping and is conveniently located exactly where bubbles like to stay. but if you have bubbles there, it should read too hot, not too cold.
  8. can't stop it until you find out where it's leaking. compression test and a leakdown test will help in this endeavor.
  9. rarest of the rare, brought back to life
  10. just fab up a new sign and slap it over your current street sign. done!
  11. um, congrats? the new shoes look great! found your original purchase thread and merged the 2 together.
  12. did you replace the vacuum line running to the ball in the front bumper?
  13. 'tis a good question. unfortunately it might be a while before I can get to disassembling the 2 I have (to make one good one) to see what's up.
  14. there was never any doubt but still
  15. If anyone wanted their very own copy. https://www.ebay.com/itm/135550067865
  16. it's never a bad idea is get new steering parts. unless you get a rebuilt box and that box turns out to be bad and you chase your tail for weeks trying to find the issue because it can't possibly be your new rebuilt box that's bad.
  17. looks like a blast! but then that landscape is always a blast. (unless you roll over, which is bad) I was bummed I couldn't do the trail with the tracks on it while I was out there.
  18. drive it and enjoy it.
  19. I love seeing guys rocking the classic 6 spoke rims
  20. matches the color too. that's pretty sweet!
  21. they will be pretty safe up on the rollbar.
