I think the entire dash needs to be pulled

a lesser owner might junked it over a blown transmission. feels good to be able to fix things yourself, doesn't it. almost seems like a lost art these days.

"preventative maintenance" takes on a whole new meaning when the car is super old. things you'd never think of with a new car.

lost count as to how many people I've talk to that lost an automatic from a rusty trans cooler line blowing apart on a drive.

can you put an electric space heater in the cab overnight? only other product I'm aware of that does a similar job is Chassis Saver.

let there be light!!! do you know for sure that the house's feed isn't sufficient? last couple times I upgraded a house for more power, the line running to the house was rated for plenty and only the box needed the upgrade.

back in my youth I made a lot of them. I do believe I still have a few boxes of models I never got around to.

be sure to follow the POR15 instructions exactly. this includes making sure that the metal's temperature is high enough. ambient air temp alone isn't good enough and if the metal is still cold, you can have adhesion issues.

I still don't understand. are those things damaged? rotted? they do understand that only a small portion of the firewall is different for the 97+ conversion, yes? the windshield is identical.

not that I think this would change you mind, but the backseat is for sure the place to put little kids if your car has airbags. the front seat is not outright deadly on its own. but I can understand wanting a bigger (aka heavier) rig.

don't look to me. I just refer to my trucks by color. (which worked fine right up until I painted the red truck tan, but didn't change its name to reflect that, and then got another red truck. )
