a bit of guessing on the vin, but no guessing on what the truck is.
  2. grind it flat so your bit doesn't wander from the center, then drill out, then heat, then cold, then heat, then cold, then heat, then easyout. bonus points if you remove the bracket and do it in a vice.
  3. the land speed record MJ only sold for 8k or so, but that was many years ago.
  4. yeah, every time I hear a guy say he killed his engine, I gotta ask for more details.
  5. very clean looking! but pull up the carpets as soon as you can. even rust free rigs can has rust under the carpets due to water intrusion. I put the vin in the registry for ya. keep an eye on it. one of the guys that works at chrysler will get you a build sheet as soon as they can.

    can't say I was expecting a sold-in-Switzerland code.
  13. should be pretty obvious if the seal has a second lip. you practically have to special order it.
  14. maybe time to try the double lip? but as I said, it took several tries to get mine to stop dripping. 2 different seals, and many attempts at getting the goo everywhere it needed to be.
  15. is that groove where the seal rides?
  16. excellent point. be sure to look into the dual booster swap from an later XJ or WJ. should be links to it in the link in my signature.
  17. I wouldn't build it, but I sure as heck would drive it.
  18. there's just something about all those little shiny bits
  19. my 88 had a firm pedal that became worthless as soon as the engine was started. replacing the booster fixed it.
