  1. welcome to the addiction
  2. oh, your truck seems to be trimmed already. then I guess 32s or 33s aren't necessarily as much of a headache.
  3. I'd put them in a locked box bolted to the inside of the truck.
  4. do 5 per rim, not just one. and different styles too. make them work for it. then do something so they can't just start the truck and drive away and fight the locks somewhere else.

nothing appears to be all that different out the patio. admittedly I can only see a very tiny slice of florida, but that's a good sign. I'm afraid to turn on the news though.
  6. for 33s I'd do 4.10s if auto or 4.56 if manual. be prepared, 33s are a big tire. bigger than the wheelwells will comfortably fit for stuffing/turning and so trimming is necessary. if you don't want anything too crazy, I'd go with 31s and a 3" lift. you only lose 1" of ground clearance with 31s over 33s but life becomes sooooo much easier. .
  7. there are guides out there but they seem to be more confusing than helpful to new comers. what's the engine/trans/tire going to be? what type of wheeling would you do? you should put some basic info in your signature.
  8. the 35 is the problem child. the 30 just needs some ujoint upgrades. aside from gearing of course, but most all factory axles need improvements there.
  9. there's no 44 that's an easy/cheap swap. how good are your fabrication skills?

gotta rotate that cloud so the rain is coming sideways. it's kinda cool to watch. the big lights at the pool across the water are still on and so we can see the rain and wind. doesn't make for a good photo though.
  11. the 30 is a great axle once you eliminate the CAD and get the bigger ujoints (same size joints as a dana 44) people regularly run 33s and 35s on it.
  12. no, i mean if someone wanted to make molds, nos ones exist. they are not for sale.
  13. junkyard shafts from a 95+ XJ or a TJ. get the inners and outers and joints (then replace the joints with new)
  14. late model shafts go right in (replacing the one seal) and will give you bigger ujoints.
  15. nos flaps do exist.

I'm now in Disney. left super early and drove down in time to beat the 'cane and get into our room. been in plenty of tropical storms but this is my first legit hurricane. always thought about coming down for a quick weekend trip if a hurricane ever came here, but never thought it be an accidental hiccup in a trip that's been planned for a year. oh well. I'm surrounded by concrete with no where to go. bring on your worst Ian. (except maybe don't bring your worst. in fact, if you could just kinda dissipate right now, that's be awesome everyone is already sick of your crap.)
  17. nice! any details on the top?

this is going to suck. I think it's still a 3? so hopefully not as bad as others.
  19. nice that's a lot of layers.
  20. summer in Michigan winter in Georgia rye bread or sourdough?
  21. what shape are the tires in? out of balance and out of round tires tend to start vibrating 55-60 mph.
  22. if by "relatively easy" you mean there are ~50 KJs in self-serve yards within an hour of my house, then you are accurate.
  23. there was one on my 99 TJ AX-15.
  24. photos/location would help determine a price. you need 9 more posts and then the classifieds will open up to you
