  6. any high-end Jeep from 30+ years ago in good condition is pretty dang rare.
  7. right now it's in the middle of a very complicated CPS swap. had to pause it to take on the kitchen.
  8. it's an 88 and everything looks original up there. other than that I'm not sure the difference.
  9. helping a friend with her truck. don't have time today to dive deeper but I ran through the various selections only rear hazards flash only rear left turn flashes right turn is fine both front and back no parking lights up front at all, rear parking lights work. no turns or hazards at all if headlights/parking lights are turned on. doesn't even click. bulbs are all good all sockets look great good times.
  10. out with the old, in with the new (kitchen cabinets). helping a friend with the last of the reno. fun fact, those old cabinets are only 3 months old. the contractor did that horrible of a job.
  11. my neighbor straight piped his chevy truck. I now hate him. not sure what he needs to go get at 1am, but it wakes me up every single time. even if he tries to idle out of the driveway, he can't get up that big hill at idle and the exhaust points right at my bedroom window.
  12. they are old Jeeps. frustration is just part of the fun. (or at least that's what I keep telling myself. )
  13. be sure to start a thread in the "other projects" forum and share some pics of that XJ.

  16. yup. I always slap them onto magnet sheet so it can move.
  17. I did something similar like 2 weeks before my planned rocker guards were built. both sides too.
  18. my first truck went through a few different setups and what I settled on is 5.25s in the doors and a small woofer behind the seats. it's a tiny cab. you don't need to spend much to get decent sound. If you're not going with an external amp, make sure that whatever radio you buy comes with an internal amp. I found out the hard way that not all of the cheap ones do. it played music, but couldn't get loud enough to be heard on the freeway.
  19. #44,524? welcome to the addiction!
