  1. nice! did it go to a regular junkyard? maybe you can buy the whole thing?
  2. also, according to the site it's been there for a couple weeks. either the bar is long gone already, or you've got a few weeks before it's crushed.
  3. to most people in rust free areas, it's just an old small truck.
  4. for C02 I use a standard 20# steel tank filled up at a local welding supply shop. I use a non-adjustable 100psi regulator with no gauges. works great for filling tires and blowing a steam of air to clean things. if you want to use it for things like a brad gun, you'll want an adjustable reg with a gauge.
  5. too expensive for a middle man. by the time I add in the gas costs to pick that up and haul it north, I might make my money back.
  6. lemme know how the bed is.
  7. If you're looking for factory choices like seats or fogs or power windows, I like to look at the dealership brochures for each year. you can usually find them on ebay.
  8. bought 3 copies can't wait to tell the recipients that someone their age wrote the book.
  9. he already bought one of my beds. and grabbed a rear axle. something went wrong with the current one in the accident but I forget what it was. @Mike Rhyne
  10. I've read that the swaybar links might need to be undone if the truck is stock.
  11. yeah, ya gotta have a few inches of lift to get away with that. and even then it can be tight.
  12. gotta jack up the truck and let the axle hang free. you can even pull the front tires if you can't get the truck high enough and let it sit on the rotors.
  13. if you get desperate, there's a double lip seal out there. but it took a few tries to get mine to stop leaking. only one was a damaged seal I stupidly installed anyways. the rest were leaks of the pan gasket next to the seal. take your time, use lots of sealant in the places it goes, and a quality oil pan rubber gasket, and let it all cure before starting the engine up.
  14. oh wait, I can actually help out with pics. got some from FB.
  15. you do NOT get to share that and then not give a link!
  16. I'm in michigan at the moment, but can snap a pic when I get back later this week.
  17. not sure what to do with that old cherokee sitting behind the garage? make a mobile home! not sure how "mobile" it is though...
  18. my 88 has factory cruise and a peugeot.
  19. now picture that same truck being driven by someone that's seen snow twice in their entire life. now picture a million more of those people all trying to drive to work. lots of people die. every time.
  20. no one has all-season tires down in Atlanta (a lot don't even have tread). and there's no salt or plow trucks at all. so, because it'll all be gone soon (usually by the next day), everything just shuts down until it warms up again.
  21. bench and buckets share the same floor brackets. but XJ floor brackets are different.
  22. most of my 12hr drive was rain, dark, fog or usually some combination of the 3. traffic was light though, so that helped. definitely had the radar assist on for all this.
  23. spotted this sexy truck north of atlanta today
