stroker + peugeot = boom dollar for dollar, the best performance improvements are seen with regearing. :thumbsup: maybe add in some better injectors too.

if he has lifted the Jeep on stock arms, his caster is likely already messed up. longer lowers can bring that back to normal. a measurement of the current caster would help figure out what's what. :thumbsup: Some stock Jeep rims would definitely cure the rubbing. Though you might then rub a bit on the stock lower arms.

if you're still rocking the stock arms, I'd start there. if the rub is slight, you might be able to dial in a sweet spot.

In every manual/brochure I've ever seen, Jeep says no to slide-ins on a comanche. having said that, we've got a couple members who have done it anyway after modding the truck to better handle the top-heavy weight. also, you might want to start new threads for new and completely off topic questions. :thumbsup:

MJ and XJ front floors are fairly similar, but get progressively different the further back you get. XJ pans are flat back there since the floor keeps going, MJ pans curve up to meet the rear wall.

which doesn't really help our low rpm engines much if at all. :dunno:

you'll need to fab up custom parts. the power seats are bulky and don't conform to the MJ floor well. but it has been done. I just can't remember who it was. :dunno:

unless you make sure that the air going in is fresh from outside, it's more of a "hot air" intake. :(

as far as I've been told, any AMC 2.5 block from any Jeep 84-2002 (or whenever they switched to the 2.4 v4) can be a donor with minimal work. :thumbsup:

I'd throw armor on the Jeep first and then buy a separate pair of axles to build up. that makes it simple to swap those in to the truck in a weekend along with the lift.

or... and I can't believe I forgot this... disconnect the rear shaft from the rear axle and tie the axle up out of the way with a ratchet strap or the like (i.e. leaving it attached to the t-case). no wait, i can believe that I forgot. I forgot that I can forget anything. it's like a super power. :rotf: :doh:

my start is pretty straightforward I guess... back in 97 I needed my first real DD. I wanted a Jeep, but I wanted a truck, but I wanted a Jeep, but I wanted a truck... then I found out I didn't have to choose. :D
