  1. Thanks. Agree with your OME assessment - my MJ is OME all around (except the rear leafs of course), and it can't be beat. I'm buying a new JL next year, so I'm going with the Rubicon parts for now. Ordered a take-off Rubi set of springs and shocks from Fortec 4x4 for $200 shipped, and will throw them on next week. Love your fender flares B TW.
  2. Track bar, also called panhard bar. The OEM track bars are fixed - non-adjustable. Looks like yours is adjustable, and it's purpose is to re-center the front end after a lift. Your track bar is missing the rubber grease boot on the frame end, which probably means it hasn't had grease in quite awhile and the joint is dry and loose.
  3. You got it dude, I'm done. Post whatever you want. You are now ignored.
  4. No, there are no holes in the 91-92 MJ expansion tank - you need to replace it. 91 and 92 had an open cooling system. Your problem sounds like a faulty radiator cap - replace that too.
  5. You have a 91 - have you checked for fault codes? https://comancheclub.com/topic/28111-reading-obdi-91-and-92-mj-fault-codes/
  6. Sounds like you're getting spread pretty thin mate. But heck yeah - good score on that 92.
  7. My 15 JK Sahara is approaching 70K miles and the shocks and springs are nearly toast. Been thinking of picking up a set of low mileage (less than 100 miles) JK Rubicon "take off" shocks and springs instead of springing for aftermarket stuff like OME for 5X the cost. Anyone done this with good results?
  8. What's with all the spaces......................................... and dots? ............................................... For emphasis? ......................................
  9. Is this in reference to a topic or just for general knowledge?
  10. Jack up each front wheel separately and check for lateral play and/or noise when you spin the wheel. Sounds like a wheel bearing problem.
  11. That's a hell of a fleet you have now. Are they all at home?
  12. I assume you mean a bed mat? I could say something funny, but I'll pass....
  13. Try a quick ratio steering gear box from a 93-98 ZJ. Makes the stock box and Durango box feel like you're driving a school bus.
  14. Every ship has a sea lawyer. The USS Comanche Club has one too. And no Dirty, not referring to you.
  15. It's an Ohio truck. Adam hasn't put his location in yet... For some reason.................
  16. One of the best shows ever. Serious comedy with great characters, especially nurse Hot Lips Houlihan and Corporal Radar O'Reilly.
  17. ^^^ Much better design of course, but not something the average shade tree mechanic could do at home. The factory winch option could be bolted on, and while not ideal, was better than nothing.
  18. No oil is going to stop the original clearcoat (probably shellac or varnish) from continuing to peal; probably will make it worse. I'd wipe it down gently with a non-oily soft cloth, then poly it with several light coats to seal and preserve what's left.
  19. Very cool sign. I like to use satin (or flat) polyurethane spray (on a dry non-humid day) for preservation of surfaces like that. Several light mist coats applied 5-10 minutes apart. It's never caused problems with lifting or bubbling the undersurface for me.
  20. I'd prefer no holes for LED lights - make your own holes and use the lights of your choice.
  21. What is this? Cut and paste night?
  22. What's a ""big 3" upgrade? Did you mess with the ignition switch?
