  1. Good point. Universal is never a universal fit is it.
  2. Thanks Ben. So putting the #91 on a LWB MJ would probably fit like an S10 LWB topper - NQR (Not Quite Right).
  3. I've had a code 12 ever since I've owned mine - no worries. The code 35 could be that the aux fan relay in the PDC is bad, or even missing. You can swap these around to check.
  4. Might know where there's a couple more... :peek: Did Wildernest make these specifically for the LWB MJ, or were they a "universal" fit? I know nothing about them. I'd be interested in the topper by itself, but not for a trailer.
  5. My CEL light (and the rest of the dash lights) only comes on when I turn the IGN key on during the bulb check sequence when all the dash bulbs come on prior to starting. I've never seen the CEL light come on by itself while running like the OBD2 system does.
  6. Same problem I had a while back. Mine would cut off randomly it seemed at the worst possible places; crossing a bridge, passing on a two-lane road, etc. Did the key fault code thing, had a single fault, code 54, distributor sync sensor. Changed it and it cut the cutoffs in half. Then went ahead and replaced the CPS, and it was permanently cured. I never showed any other fault codes than the 54 code. Hopefully you have just a burnt out bulb on the CEL diagnostic procedure. I always check for codes bi-monthly or so. It's a good PM tool.
  7. Damn you Ben, now you have figured out how to clone these things. :fs1: Err, can you clone one more for me? Huh?
  8. Sounds like a recipe for disaster. And only an hour away? :shake:
  9. No worries. I just never heard of anyone accidentally buying an MJ on Ebay and wondered how you managed to do that. And kudos to you for completing the Ebay transaction even though it wasn't your first choice.
  10. Yep.
  11. Huh? Same p/n's for 2.5 and 2.8.
  12. No, but you can use the fan blade from a 2.5 XJ/MJ.
  13. ^^ Agree, it would be a shame if this rare bed is scrapped. In case you haven't seen the thread, this is the utility bed Jim is talking about: This is the thread: http://comancheclub.com/topic/44176-utility-bed-for-a-lb-mj-in-co-100/
  14. So you accidentally bought your MJ on Ebay, then think you used U-Ship to deliver it. Huh? Pete, I've used UShip for a few motorcycle transfers in and out, and all of them went well. Of course bikes are easier to ship, but the following applies to all. When you place your ad and the bids start coming in, read the feedback, correspond with the shipper off-line, ask your questions, and it's pretty easy to see where the BS is and where the reliability is. U-Ship is kind of a crap shoot, but the longtime shippers on U-Ship remain there for a reason. They get the job done a lot cheaper than the commercial outfits. .
  15. Thanks for that one - I'm over crowded too.
  16. Then I must have lost them in the shuffle either when I installed the MT springs or the D44 axle. Two separate evolutions. :wall: I must be losing it..................... Been running for over three years w/o them, so they are probably not absolutely mandatory. But it will bug the hell out of me now that I know they are missing.
  17. This is weird. I just looked under my rig - these plates are missing. Looked them up in the parts manual: 52002892, Standard Duty and 52002893, Heavy Duty. And of course neither is available anymore. Either I forgot to put them back on when installing MT springs a few years ago, or my truck never had them. Does everyone have these reinforcement plates under the shock mount plates?
  18. Most of the RHD 2-doors went to the UK and Japan. They also made an XJ van (4-door) that was exported to the UK. It was registered for commercial use and qualified for tax breaks. No back seats or rear glass.
  19. No gambling unless it's done back-channel. PM sent.
  20. Alternator for what year and engine?? Put that info in your signature so we won't have to guess.
  21. A good possibility is ignition switch adjustment or a fried ignition switch connector.
