  1. :brows: We can still try.
  2. I'll have to look for the write up, you can also swap WJ lower control arms and it should help.
  3. I am in Joplin Mo, not too far away. There is actually some members that live up your way, I'll be headed up to Junction City sometime soon to get some 4x4 parts for my truck from a member. Maybe we can meet up sometime, Seems like everyone lives up that way in Kansas.
  4. Ah, ok. I wasn't for sure, I have never owned an Eliminator (but hopefully will someday).
  5. :agree: That stuff is amazing.
  6. What kind of engine is it you have?
  7. 2 wheel drive? Lol
  8. :thumbsup:Welcome to the club! Nice Comanche you have there! Just wondering, but are you in Fort Riley Kansas?
  9. Thanks for the link, I think I might try that.
  10. That looks like the vacuum lines. I don't remember what it all connects to though.
  11. I will indeed, I can use the heat gun to get the majority off but it leaves this thin brown coat on it. You could probably scrape it off with a knife, but you would be risk scratching the chrome.
  12. The trim pieces for all of the windows have this plasti-dip coating on it that is peeling off in some spots. Underneath it is chrome and I want to take it off to reveal the chrome. I am not for sure if the plastic stuff is stock or not, but I want to remove it. I have tried a heat gun and it works somewhat. Anybody have ideas on how to remove it from the trim? Thanks!
  13. Well my truck is drive-able now, it looks weird though. I only had enough for the rear 2 but will be getting the front soon. It looks weird sitting there with street tires in the front and All terrains in the back, the rear sits up high. Its going to be looking better in the end though!
  14. My uncle had told me about Tuttle creek, said he went up there a lot growing up. When I get my truck converted to 4x4, I really want to go on some trails, so expect sometime this summer or maybe spring I might be going up there. I'll even see if my uncle wants to go in his YJ. There is a off road park here in Joplin, I'm not sure what its like. But maybe someday we can all go wheeling somewhere.
  15. I really like the stuff you have created, planning on getting some products in the future. How much are one of the eating tools?
  16. :thumbsup:Like the truck. They usually always start out rough, but its not called a project for no reason. The 2.5 might grow on you, it did with me, but for some reason it seems like mine has more power than others. (Might just be me) either way, have fun with it!
  17. Did your bucket seats mount straight to where the bench seat went? Like the truck and the maroon interior, and I am not a huge fan of maroon interior either
  18. Well the rear tire was unfixable, the tear that were in the side wall finally gave out. Its gonna be down for a little while will I do some work. Going to be painting the center console today.
  19. There can't be a 904 behind a 2.5, it could if it was a 4.0. As for the manual transmission, if it is a 2.5, the standard transmissions for that would be a AX-4 which is a 4 speed, or a AX-5, which is a 5 speed. The swap shouldn't be that hard. You might have to lengthen/shorten your driveshaft. I'm not for sure, but someone else should know.
  20. :thumbsup:Looking amazing Just wondering, but how is that raptor liner holding up?
  21. Well what I was waiting on happening has finally struck. Happened in the high school parking lot while I was helping set up a Robotics challenge. I new it was low, but then I came out later after lunch and it was completely deflated. Luckily my friends were there to help me get it off and take it to get air in it (Since my spare is bad) to get me home I was hoping it would hold till I got my new tires some time this or next month, but apparently not. I am going to see if it can be fixed but I have a feeling it can't be, If not, it might be setting for a while.
  22. Was it on Craigslist some time ago?
  23. I have seen this one before! It looks like a nice Comanche, keep up the good work!
  24. Thank you for those part numbers. How does yours ride? Does it ride the same or is it rough?
