  1. Looking to buy an AX15 transmission, bell housing and np231 transfer case with proper spline. The more I can get to do this swap, the better. I have an AW4 I pulled out of my truck that was working okay if you might be looking for one. Thanks for looking.
  2. I have a 90 2.5 2wd with a 4sp in it and I have to change out the clutch but I found a 5speed transmission for $100. The 5sp is out of an 89 4.0 2wd. So since I already have to drop the tranny I thought I might as well swap my 4sp for the 5sp but was wondering if anyone knows if it will/will not bolt up? And maybe warn me about some problem areas I might encounter in the process. Thanks Guys!
  3. I have a 1986 jeep Comanche 2.5l custom just recently replaced the engine due to it taking a $#!& on me. The transmission has been leaking an did before the swap I replaced the front pump seal but it still is leaking. I have been told that the lines sometimes will gum up and I should have them flushed to see if that solves the problem. Where is the best and cheapest place to have a transmission flushed ( I live around State College Pennsylvania). I was thinking also about swapping out my what I believe is a TF 904 3-speed automatic transmission for some kind of standard transmission. If I did this what transmission should I swap with and how hard would it be to do a auto to standard swap?
  4. Hey guys, I am finishing up a engine & transmission swap with a 87 i6 with a 2wd aw4 that went into into an 89 lwb mj that originally had a ba10. I can see that my old driveshaft is too long to use now. The Aw4 is longer than the ba10. Can anyone tell me the difference in length between lwb automatic aw4 and lwb manual ba10 driveshafts? :hmm: :dunno: :hmm: Any help would be greatly appreciated.
