  1. You've done it again TNT  . You always find the awsome pics.Thanks.
  2. Hells yah!!!  swag rules !
  3. mfpdm , nice Tech. Thanks for posting.I have been wondering, on the subject of tilt, can you take parts from a tilt column and add them to an MJ shift column?
  4. Looking good. Nice score.
  5. Nice , I like the one million mile warranty, and the pic of the V-6 header:) .
  6. Do it  I had the fortune to drive a Spyder for a period of time a few years ago and loved every minute!
  7. On an 88 Renix? Part # please.
  8. Is'nt the T100 a little bigger than the MJ?So their shocks would be valved for more weight? And are the XJ rears about 2" shorter? So an MJ w/3" of lift could use a XJ w/5-6" lift shock?
  9. To do a full 2" Budget Boost I think you want to do a combination of a full length AAL and a lift shackle like the Warrior Products one if you don't want to go w/lift packs.
  10. Any professional automotive paint suppliers should carry it, or go to their dealer locator page on their web site. Used the same SEM color on the seats and center console. It's holding up very well. The arm rest is still in perfect condition. The DS seat, where my arse scrapes getting in and out still has paint on it! I think it all has to do with the prep work before painting. My dad introduced this to me when we restored old 60's Corvette's. Great stuff and you can always touch-up with a spray if needed. Thank you. The reference to "Unique Whips" was made in jest.I have used and recomend, however,SEM and I am no "newbie" to paint products and their application.
  11. Baxter Auto Parts in Oregon carries it , I don't know whats near Woodland but I,m sure there are others. Supposedly SEM is what the "pro's" use. "Unique Whips" had a whole display case of it on one episode. :D
  12. I thought Rustys fenders looked an awful lot like Hannemans. offroader461 , the reason I ask about your fenders is I have been planning for some time on getting a set of Glassworks for my truck. I was interested in how they fit , how the install went. It's nice to see 'em on an MJ.
  13. Ya I definately like the RK kit
  14. Absalutely. If I had the time and funds I would be there for one reason only , to learn. I have the upmost respect for those with the calling to teach and share knowledge. Good luck with school.
  15. offroader461 , are those Glassworks fenders ? How was the install ? I think the first truck pictured is sport'n Hannemans fenders and bedsides. Trailer Products/Ajax and Rusty,s also make glass for the XJ/MJ .
  16. Exactly, thank you.I,m more apt to buy something pre-engineered and proven , but for the money, I can take the time to figure it out.And I do like the process. Well , cheers on the good effort and nice work. I have seen both seperate brackets for each side as well as intergrated cross members so I,m still mulling it around.Have you got a chance to give to your LA's a workout yet?
  17. Ya I'm not interested in a radius arm setup , I'm just concerned about getting the right dimentions so they function properly. There are 4-Link Calculators and such.
  18. Nice looking truck. How did you decide on the length of your control arms and the position of the brackets? I've been wanting to go with long arms and had thought about Rock Krawlers, but I like the idea of building my own.
  19. X 2
  20. I need a black dash pad,was that the part you said was cracked?Do they seperate from the rest of the dash?
  21. BFG definately has the rep, but there are others to consider as well. I found an off brand MT,the Federal Couragia MT, that seems to have some fairly decent reviews.I like the tread pattern, has anyone tried these? Also take a look at the Khumo Road Venture KL71 MT SEMPER FI
  22. I used the SEM black satin on a kick panel and it looked good.Does anyone know where to get factory replacement,or anything close to OEM,seatcovers you can install yourself?
  23. The two previous trucks would be good examples of bed cages w/tire carriers. I believe Fabtech and a couple others make angled tire carriers you can bolt down to the bed, also check out Tiregate. Most guys use 1.75" Dia. .120 wall DOM,which has been S.C.O.R.E. regulation for cages.Chromolly is stiffer and lighter, you could probably get by w/1.5" Dia. tube.Triangulation is your friend. The Jeepspeed forum and Dezertrangers.com are a couple of good resources as well. How do you like Wyotech?
  24. There are definately alot of ways to go , I think all of the ideas posted have their merits. Boy , Chrysler Corp. sure missed the boat on this one . I,m sure whatever TNT decides to do , it will end up cool.
