  1. I'm likin the Corbeau's.I've looked at those before and like to know how well they fit an MJ.
  2. Just thought I would put this out there for consideration, might be good for a late summer/fall run , http://www.oohva.org/ohv%20area%20pages/virtue.html .It's somewhat central to the northwest, which means it probably won't be for most haha.
  3. Has anyone tried Super Clean?
  4. But that's not as fun. ;)
  5. Haha,I was just thinking about this.I've been hearing that the 2wd and 4wd knuckles are the same. What I'm wondering,on a 2wd beam, would the 4wd spindle be stronger. You could replace the rotor without messing with the wheel bearings to.Would this be considered a floating axle/spindle?
  6. Has anyone worked with fiberglass much? Just thinking about playing with some different designs for bedsides, wondering how hard it would be.
  7. Dang, is that before and after pic's, you guys must use some serious road salt. I'm curious to hear how your shocks work out,how much lift do you have? I'd like to try and get 12" of travel out back. Bilstein makes a short body 7100 that I would love to get.
  8. Your probably gettin tired of hearin it but, Great Work !,ha ha. Awsome job man. What is the headliner material you used? I was thinking about using something like Dynomat to insulate, but looks like yours may insulate better.
  9. Look's like you have 5100's .I think one reason that 99% of the shock tubes are up has to do w/ keeping shock oil on the seals. What's the travel on your Bil's?
  10. JJ's are supposed to be rebuildable,I think there is threaded washer, under that a synthetic,Nylon?,insert that can be replaced.I'm sure Currie would be more than glad to answer any questions  .
  11. That would definately be a good "investment".I'd be tempted to swap in an AMC 360 or even a 401 and a TH400 and you could probably make money on the SBC 350.
  12. yea that bumper looks pretty good X3 . Should grab that, and the rear flares, cab vents, bed liner,etc..What color is the interior?
  13. I,ll throw one more in to the mix , JKS .Their products have a pretty good reputation,Quick-Disco PN# 2001 is pretty popular.

Ya,I was gonna say if you could cut the ends square, just glue 'em up and clamp. You,d have a decent glue lam.
  15. Yes,it's not a lot, looks like mainly in the length.Mabye someone know's the exact difference.
  16. More great info, thanks.I've seen manual versions on e-bay but most of the used ones seem to be power and alot are heated to.Another item on the todo list :wrench: .
  17. Got mine today!, very awsome, thanks alot Pete.
  18. Something I 've wanted to try is a renix block, which is supposed to have a stronger casting, use the better flowing #7120 head and the 99+ intake manifold,a 62mm throttle body, not shure which HO year. Then,as said, you have several choices for a header and intake.Of course, you don't have to stop there... ;)
  19. Anytime you can get it to breath better,it helps.Even with a 4.0L ,gains can be modest with bolt-ons.So it's money vs. returns.Check out Summit Racing and Jegs websites for intake, headers, and exhaust.Do a tune-up with new parts.Oh,and dare I mention a Turbo, anyway... carry on,Devil Dog
  20. Why not go for an 8.8 in the rear?
  21. Gorillanutz !
  22. As mentioned ,a FAQ's sub forum is a good idea. Also, maybe deviding the Tech into OEM Tech and Mod Tech would be helpful. Is there a detailed write-up on how to use the Search? I guess I better search for that, lol.
  23. What is the width of this axle, and the MJ's? Is it sprung under?
  24. So, a few days ago I e-mailed Glassworks. A few people have expressed interest in fiberglass fenders/bedsides so I thought I would post up. Basically I asked if they had ever or could make rear fenders/bedsides for the XJ/MJ to match their front fenders, as I know some people are interested in an alternative to the flattop styles that are available. Tim Gerwatosky, president, responded shortly after, saying that if 5 or more people contacted them with interest they could and would consider making them. Website is glassworksunlimited@yahoo.com . So if there's any interest shoot 'em an e-mail, Cheers :D
