Not the " LAST OF THE MANCHES " 2-92 build project.
dakineJ replied to DJM/78's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
Good score on the truck  . Was 2-92 last production run of the MJ? Well, hang on to it, it should appreciate nicely. Just tell your wife it's a good invesment :D . I'm running 15x7" Soft 8's w/4" backspacing , no problem's. -
I think he did. I checked with Deaver a couple of years ago and they wanted $800 for custom packs. Yes , you could run a 62"-64" pack and probably find F67 or F55 packs used for around $400. Anything with more than 9-10" of free arch will give you lift SUA. You need to line up the center pin/center axle in the wheel opening to find out where your mounting points will be. I would think that the front eye would move forward, you might get away with just using longer shackles in the rear, which would work out well and net you some decent travel.

X2 , be sure to check out Jon Kelly's cable kits and tech info.

Wha?! , that's so lame! yes it is. either way though you would have to modify the frame mounts for it to fit a MJ Do you have to notch out for the crossmember? I don't remember the difference between the MJ and XJ crossmember. -
Man, your wife is awsome for jumpin in and helpin out like that, every man should be so lucky.

My Comanche Project.....NOOBIE
dakineJ replied to STERLING STINGER's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
I think those wheel's look decent painted black, are those the ZJ snowflakes? how much backspacing? The leather bucket's are XJ Limited seat's,XJ console, and MJ column missing the shift lever. You could replace that column with an XJ tilt column to clean up the look and send the MJ one to me. :D -

Has anyone contacted Full Traction to see if their kit is available as a LA upgrade? -
What steering wheel column will fit?
dakineJ replied to robfg67's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Is the MJ column the same as the 36 spline GM? -
late model intake swap (caution: renix content!)
dakineJ replied to Oizarod115's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Thanks, good to know. I believe I have seen an adapted renix fuel rail but it required welding tabs to align w/99+ bolt holes. If your up for it, you should post up pic's of your TPS mod. Were those the 24 lb. injectors? -
Did the intake contact the Borla? Have you thought about 4.88's?

So how did you end up adapting the Renix TPS? Also, which fuel rail, regulator, and injectors did you use? Sorry for all the questions, haha, great thread, good work. I have a 7120 head (93'),and a 99 intake/TB/fuel rail/injectors that I want to put into a 87' and I'm trying figure out what else I need to make it work , thanks. -
PDX Craigslist always has a few, and welcome.

ATK is also a major sponser of Jeepspeed.

There is a DIY mod for the Renix TPS. Would the other Renix sensors work with a 7120 head and a 99+ intake/throttle body?

Brake rotor fitment, 1990 MJ
dakineJ replied to 135Boom's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
After 89-90',whenever 2wd's went to a unit bearing,do the 2wd and 4wd use the same unit bearing hub assembly, therefore the same rotors? -
Is this just for maximum overbore?, I was under the impression that the Renix block was a stronger casting.

One word: WOW! I wonder how much a crate 4.7L costs? I know what I'd like to drop into the '88 MJ 4-banger sitting out front ... 572 c.i. Hemi ? :D hornbrod , I hav'nt found the article on their website yet. If not already, you might want to pickup the last issue.

You are correct sir. JP Magazine just did a writeup, there is some amount of controversy stirring about some of the information in that issue.
