Clayton came back and informed me their long arm kit only works with the 4.0 and AW4 or AX15. -
Long Arm Kits For 4 Cylinder Ax4-5

That is a good idea. 4WP sells the Rubicon Express cross member separately. So I could run it and The Ironman Fab arms with Johnny Joints. -
Long Arm Kits For 4 Cylinder Ax4-5
zackcj7 replied to zackcj7's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I know the majority of the kits could be modified to work but the moment I modify them any warranty is out the window. I really don't want to have modify anything right away that I pay around $1000 for. I would like to build my own but I just don't have the time. So far I have sent out emails to Clayton, Rough Country, and Rubicon Express. Rough Country said no, but it could be modified to work. No response from Clayton yet, but looking at the design it's hard to see how it would work. No reply from Rubicon Express yet but it looks like it may work. Although i'm not a fan of the RE joints. I have not contacted TNT yet. Any others I should try? -
Does anyone know what longarm kits will work on the 4 cylinder manual MJs? It doesn't look like the Clayton setup will.

I hope you have better luck with the 75 WX ST than I did. That plastic mic hanger does not like the bouncing of an offroad rig. Mine snapped off. Plus my cord's insulation is crumbling away.

Roll In Liner Question (Subjective Question)

What's the trick to getting the masking tape lines strait on the outside of the bed? -
How do you like the Monstaliner? I have used Herculiner several times in the past but I want something smoother.

Mazda actually did produce a limited number of pickups with the rotary. But they were much older than the one in this post.

I have a set of Rusty's lowers I removed from mine. I'll sell them cheap if you want them. They will need new bushings.

Like the Clayton Long arms. I'm trying to decide on long arm setup for mine. Why did they powder coat the arms but not the cross member?

Awesome. I really like this build. Do you have a gas tank skid for it? If not do you plan to make one? Just curious, I don't have one for mine and it seems pretty exposed.

The Adopted 1987 Comanche Project.

It could be just the picture, but the front axle looks off center. Does it have an adjustable front track bar? -
Any idea what one of your Cooper STT 35s on the steel wheel weighs? I'm trying to decide what to buy for mine and need something fairly light.

It's the one from a V8 model ZJ that you want.

7 degrees when I left for work this morning in Atlanta. My house has dual heat pumps and they are working as hard as they can. I'm starting to find several areas I need to insulate better.

I sold my '88 so i'm not looking for one anymore. But thank you for replying.

Looks great. What coil springs and control arms did you use?

I work in Atlanta and live in Dawsonville. Also know of two members in Cumming.

More pics of the bed  Please -
The guy I sold my old '88 to has it listed for sale. Aside from the lift it is stock and in great shape. Perfectly strait body and great interior, no rust at all. http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/cto/4183306913.html The pics in his ad suck. I can send you better ones if you are interested.

I've been using these heavy duty terminals from Napa. http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx/Battery-Cable-Terminals-Top-Mount-Official-Military-Post-Terminal/_/R-NW_728223_0063685508 They work great. Love the build!

I'm glad to see you got it back. I have had two vehicles painted by two different supposedly good shops and got screwed both times. The shop had my '70 Firebird for almost 6 months. I'm thinking about taking a night course at the local technical college on auto paint and body just so I can learn and do my own work from now on.

60 degrees in North Georgia today :D
