  1. Your current HP 30 and 8.8 can handle 35s. Doesn't seem like much of an upgrade for the time and money.
  2. Dirty matches my Jeep, I'll take it! PM me and we can PayPal and all that. How about $30 plus shipping? PM me your address and i'll get a shipping quote. It's pretty light so it shouldn't be very much.
  3. This is what I have. Is it what you are looking for? I pulled it from a 4x4 auto MJ. It's a little dirty, but in good shape.
  4. Sorry for the delay. Haven't logged in lately. I'll dig it out of the garage and send you more details sometime this weekend.
  5. Column shift or floor shift automatic? I have a grey one for a column shift auto. Complete with shifter.
  6. I used Herculiner on my old CJ7 and would not use the product again. I didn't have any problems with it holding up. But as mikekaz1 wrote it is extremely rough and hard to keep clean.
  7. Worked great towing the longbed. No issues.
  8. The AX15 and R150F can be interchanged with a little work to the input shaft. Same with an AX5 and a G54.
  9. Tow vehicle is a F250 4x4 with a 7.5L. Surely that will meet the requirements.
  10. Has anyone used one of the U-Haul car hauler trailers to tow an MJ? More specifically a longbed with 31 x 10.50s. Will it fit? I need to move my MJ to a friends house while my house is up for sale. My MJ is not registered or insured currently so driving it is not an option.
  11. I have a Dana 30 with 3.55 gears you can have if you come pick it up in North GA. It's a low pinion model though.
  12. Jailhouse Brewing is in Hampton, which is pretty close to McDonough. They have some really good beers and they give tours with tastings. https://www.jailhousebrewing.com/
  13. What operating system?
  14. No long arms yet, waiting on the funds. I did speak with Rubicon Express tech support and they confirmed their long arms will work on a 2.5l.
  15. Actually worked on the MJ today. Got the RE 5.5 springs and adjustable uppers on. Replaced the bushings on the Teraflex lowers and adjusted them for the new springs. Also mounted the power steering pump. Last but not least removed the flares and put on the 35s to see where I need to trim.
  16. You didn't give us a lot of details about how big you want to build it. What is your target tire size and wheelbase? Can you weld and fabricate or afford to pay someone else to? What is your budget?
  17. Heading out in about 10 hours. Should be a fun weekend.
  18. I was a member of Southern Jeeps back in '99-'00. I'm still friends with several of the guys. I'm not really cut out for clubs. But we may ride with some of the Southern Jeeps guys depending on what trails they hit. Hopefully my MJ will be trail worthy this time next year.
  19. I'll be there with a friend in his Commando on one tons.
  20. Looks like a nice Comanche. I like the two tone. What color is the interior? Just take it slow and work on the most critical things first. Make sure to fill out your location in your profile. A lot of advice will differ depending on the environment the Comanche drives in.
  21. What are the details on the seat covers? They look like they fit nicely.
  22. Blue Torch Fab is in Birmingham. They build some sick off road Jeeps and buggies. http://www.bluetorchfab.com/
  23. Looks great! I have those same wheels on my TJ.
