  1. I don't like shaving so I have a beard. Its very easy to use the clippers to trim
  2. I rattle canned mine, turned out great. Just do good prep, and spray lots of light coats
  3. How so? I put 2000 xj doors on my 88 mj a few months ago, they fit just fine
  4. Yeah, I am still spring under, I built the MJ starting with just the frame, I couldn't find any decent stock springs, so I went with a set of Alcan ones. here's a few better pics..... Like I said, don't mind the paint on the bedside, I have a whole gallon waiting to repaint the entire truck. Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found
  5. Yeah same here. There is no reason anything should take over a week to get. I even called and they said they weren't sure why, it was in processing and will ship when it does.
  6. Thanks, I'm not sure if I like the angle of the part in front of the tire, but its too late now. My roll bar goes through the bed to tie into the frame, I plan on tying these into the roll bar too.
  7. I had good luck with them, one item that was dropped shipped took a few days to get. The one that came from their warehouse took over 3 weeks to get. Be careful if your in a hurry
  8. Better pic of the front. New pics below...
  9. Rear, don't mind the paint, I plan on masking everything off and reshoot the whole truck I still need to trim the sheet metal inside the wheel well. They are 1.5" dom and 18 gage sheet metal fully welded on both sides and tied into the frame Image Not Found Front Image Not Found
  10. Made a set of tube flares for the rear out of some scrap 1.5" DOM tubing and sheet metal that I had laying arou.d.
  11. This is my other toy Image Not Found Image Not Found and this is the wifes toy Image Not Found
  12. My XD9000i has served me well on my xj and mj.
  13. X2 Edit: just read the rest, I should be able to make it that weekend.

    RC MJ

Yes I have one, got it about 6 months ago
  15. I had my shop at work bend me the small patch panel needed to go above the wheel.well. cost me $10 in metal and I can fix both side now. If you measure out the angles, it a pretty easy patch to make
  16. I used airsoft bb's in mine with no issues.
  17. X2 I know what the saying meant. I guess its not that exciting since I have one. Or if you go to the scale forum on www.rccrawler.com there are tons of them like that.
  18. I'm not understanding the excitement either Look again. And did you look at the link? I saw the crawler in the pic, still don't see the excitement. Lots of time and money into it though, thats for sure. I know mine cost a lot to build as a scale model.
  19. OMG he has a flat tire!
  20. I use the marine terminals with wing nuts. Using the same set for the last 5 or 6 years.
  21. I stand corrected, I bought the truck just how you see it in the pic, the guy told me it was stock. Oh well. I saved the brackets so I could.copy them in the future
  22. It only takes 3 points to define a plane any more will cause binding...... Most 4 link kits work very well and there is room to package them if you put some thought in it. I've been running a 3 link with a upper that is almost the same length as the lowers now for about 6 years and have no complaints at all. Its been on my mj for 3 years and it was on my xj for at least 3 before that
  23. I didn't cringe watching it, actually I could only make it a minute into it before I was too bored to keep watching. Try driving on roads like that in a sports car and then it becomes fun. I took my SRT through roads like that in the Smoky Mountains, had a blast.
  24. This is the only picture I have that shows the rear of the frame and how a bumper mounts hope it helps, it's a lwb truck with stock bumper
  25. I was hoping these were the ones that you preset at a pressure and just screwed them on and leave them till the tire is aired down.
