Pete M
I'm curious about the history behind it. It's certainly not an Archer's bros truck. and I don't see a rollcage in it. It's sooooo hard to get details about MJ history. :(

Do you think that this could have been bought from the Archer brothers, raced in another form, and then sold off to these people who made it a streeter? AMCJeepMJ
If it has a clear title, I could run it on the road up here [no state inspection or emissions]. I just don't have $2.5k to spare or a way to retrieve it.
Pete M
I guess that could be a bar. we need more pics and history!! :D

I was thinking the same thing, but why isn't there any cage in the cab? Shouldn't the bars in the front of the bed tie into something? ... on a side note, I never noticed the wheels on these trucks. Got a whole stack of them in the garage.

neohic
hang on to them :D Kinda feel bad about using them as extra weight in the winter. Didn't these trucks have a front spoiler in the bumper? Wonder if that's in the "extra parts".
neohic
... but why isn't there any cage in the cab? Okay, I take it back. Seems as though they had minimal cage work done for the interiors. Looks to me like they only had one main halo up and over the rear window. How come the truck for sale has two seats?
Automan2164
The same reason it has headlights and turn signals... Someone turned it into a driver. Rob
neohic
Done some looking around and found a picture of it at an event in Detroit in 1990. http://mwphoto-misc.smugmug.com/Cars/SC ... ipm/Medium Sterling took 15th.
jimoshel
Was a little disappointed Jeep came in 15th. Scrolled thru the whole list. Comanche also placed 1st and 3rd. Also 18th. Nissan seemed to have the most entries. Neohic. Thanks for posting the link.

dasbulliwagen
I can fully imagine either Pete or especially Automan, selling their souls to the devil to try to get this thing, or in Automans case, substitute "soul" for "Diesel MJ"!
DirtyComanche
Man. I'd love to get that. If it was driveable/reliable I'd half consider changing my plane ticket home to a ticket to Texas and driving that thing all the way back to Canada
