Crome makes you look like a cheesy ricer poser... so yeah (works like it's supposed to I guess) As far as snorkles... http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=269764 Although I'm totally with you that most of the people I see just put snorkles on for looks. A lot of roof racks and lightbars as well are just for show. Here's (was) my snorkle- It's all utility, although in retrospect I should have had it chromed:
