Bracing looks good. As does the clean rig. I have H4's in my MJ and have been eye balling those LED's since they finally came out with the square one's. Getting the XJ (still stock lights) finally gives me an excuse to do the LED's on my MJ and move the H4's over to the XJ. :)

Or pick up two sets of LEDs like I did for both MJs.   :D

Northridge 4x4 does have the best price I've found.  $425 for a set of two.

Spent the weekend in the Fortune Creek area clearing trails.  For at least the last couple years the end of the Fortune Creek Trail, 4W301, has been blocked by a bunch of downed trees.  A few of us decided to clear them.  We went up Friday night, set up camp next to the downed trees, and spent Saturday morning clearing the last 1/2 mile of the trail.

This was as far as you could go.

The view from the end of the trail, where there used to be a cinnabar mine.  Definitely worth clearing the trail to get here.

We were done clearing the trail before noon and decided to head over to Van Epps.

On the way up to Van Epps Pass we ran across a series of beautiful waterfalls along Fortune Creek.

We camped at Van Epps Pass Saturday night.  This is the view we woke up to Sunday morning.

IMG_0110.JPG

We proceeded to the old mine to market road that switchbacks up Huckleberry Mountain, 4W305.  Last year this was also blocked by a bunch of blown down trees that were under a lot of tension.  This year a local cabin owner was able to clear them out.  We still didn't quite make it to the end of 4W305 as it has become very overgrown and a couple of wash outs have covered the trail.  Maybe a project for next year.   :D

The washout that turned us back.

IMG_0130.JPG

4W305 forks once you get to the top.  The left fork takes you to this mine.  It must have been worked by midgets.  Even after you get past the debris at the entrance there was only room to half stand up.  Unfortunately the pictures don't show that past the water there are still tracks.

Had another beautiful weekend at Fortune Creek.  Finally met Jason (H3RESQ) and got to check out his MJ in person.

The Rainier Scrambler invited me on their Stag Run again.  This year we went to Liberty and had a great time.

Of course we had to stop and check out a few mines.

The Manastash fires burning in the distance.  This is currently burning where we camped on last year's Stag Run.  A lot of trails in the area that are going to look completely different.

IMG_0315.JPG

The Hole in the Rock trail travels through an area that was burned during last year's Liberty fires.  It was interesting to see how quickly the forest is recovering.  There were depressions and holes everywhere that were created by the fire burning tree roots and the ground above collapsing to fill the void.

Sunday we hit some trails west of 97.  We found a pretty sizable obstacle blocking our way....and everybody left their chain saws at home.

This has been an awesome build and if I ever went hardcore wheeling I would want to go with you because you seem to be able to fix anything with tie straps, zip ties, and chains lol.

On a side note, I might be able to fix your cooling problem. The reason you are now getting better cooling with the single row is because it has far less restriction in air flow. So now you are actually getting good heat transfer between your fins and air because of the increased air flow. But truely the 3 row should give you greater cooling capacity. I think you didn't have strong enough fans to pull the air through the cooling module. Also with a 3 row you honestly need a really good shroud to get the most out of your fans. To let you know that fan on the front is probably doing little to no good. It might be cooling about 10% of the area that the fan covers. A possible upgrade for your fans and shrouds could be the Ford Taurus fan which seems to be far greater than an basic electric fan and it comes with a good shroud.

Just food for thought.

Our club volunteered as campground hosts at Evan's Creek this past weekend.  We had a great turnout and even had some action with a rollover on Saturday.

Tuesday we started on Strike Ravine on our way to Area BFE.

IMG_1433.JPG

We ran the entrance to Upper Helldorado, then Minor Threat on our way to Green Day.  My rear ECTED had finally decided to die on Moab Rim, so I ended up taking a few bypasses.

Sweet Pics...... I hope to someday get out west for some wheeling...... I was out over the weekend and my front ECTED started slipping as well.... I pulled a few teeth off my ring gear also so I'm pulling mine out and swapping in a lunchbox.....  I also have the 8.8 rear and was wondering how wide of an adapter you were running on the back to match up with the 44 in the front.

Wednesday ended up just Ron, his wife, and us.  We decided to do Kane Creek Canyon.

It didn't take us long to come across the first snake of the day.  He's lucky I noticed him.  I almost thought he was just a stick on the trail and barely gave it a second thought.

IMG_1727.JPG

He wasn't very interested in going anywhere but we were eventually able to convince him to move on.

IMG_1732.JPG

Snake #2 decided to join us for lunch.  As we were eating we watched him crawl along the creek bed and climb right up into Ron's Jeep.

IMG_1744.JPG

IMG_1745.JPG

He crawled up on top of the gas tank and poked his head out the other side.

IMG_1749.JPG

He then retreated to the gas tank.  We attempted to chase him out but he was apparently quite content, which meant that Ron's wife was not getting back in their Jeep.  So the wives swapped places after lunch.

IMG_1758.JPG

It only took a few minutes of splashing through the creek before the snake decided he had enough.

Are you running an ECTED or an E-Locker?  Your build thread states E-Locker, not ECTED.

Why are you wasting your money on a D30 with 36" tires?
