TheMaddTitan13
Rate my engine bay! Curious to see it compared to others! (The oil on my valve cover was from before replacing vacuum lines & my battery plate rusted out 😞 )

Would you say the heat pad on the hood is worth it? It gets pretty warm on the trail. & I am definitely going to find a shroud. You got some good looking engines! The ones with engines, do they run? On that hood meh, idk its vented pretty well and the pad is like a kilmat soo its stuck there and I'm not ambitious enough to remove it. I long swore against the mech shroud because most of mine would break and then fall into the fan and lock it up. However after installing brand new shrouds vs salvaging 30yr old ones, I wouldn't run one without it! 1st picture is not a running and driving vehicle - yet. Motor does run but there's no exhaust, cooling system or established fuel system. Otherwise yes the rest with engines are running and driving vehicles

AreWeThereYet
This is definitely nice for reference as I’m sorting through mine. I don’t know much about the current engine other than it’s not original, most likely came out an 88, and it runs smooth.

pizzaman09
Lots of stuff all over the place but all factory setup. I didn't quite install the cruise control actuator the way it was supposed to be.

That looks like one of the 3 correct spots for it to be mounted and in the correct spot for that style of bracket.

After reviewing a few other installs, I don't think the bracket is setup the way the factory would have, that said, it fits well and doesn't interfere with anything. Gojira94
In honor of Cruiser54's posts about running an HO on Renix, here's an example. Cruise servo has been positioned to use the HO throttle bracket setup. Air cleaner and fuel rail are aftermarket, obviously, neither Renix nor HO...
