How many Jeeps are too many? Asking for a friend...

We have five at the house now. They keep following us home like lost puppy dogs. :brows: The Mrs. is thinking this may become her around town car, which sounds good as it's a reason to keep it! :))

I don't think I have seen any vehicle with 6 cross bars on the roof.

Good eye! Yes, it's like this one beat up two other XJs and stole their roof rack cross bars. :roflmao:

yeah, Dex is on my list of people I'd like to visit.  I only have 5 and 2 halves Jeeps.  mostly due to the aforementioned money/space/time limitations. lol

Dex is an interesting fellow. Knows how to work on FI but throw a carb at him and he’s lost. Otherwise he’s got a lot of info and parts to debunk some myths and what not.

Well, let's not ask the Wise Old Owl. He'd say 3. Now, there is the single guy plan. 7 days in the week. So, seven Jeeps. Or is that 7 MJs, and seven XJs and .... Then there's the Married Plan. Theres 30 days in the month. then times 2. So, 60 Jeeps, or is it 60 MJs, and 60 XJs, and ... And then there's the Divorcee, well, there's one MJ, or is it one XJ or is it ....

I like this thinking.

If you can justify it and then also use it regularly, I don't see why not! Nice body color and that interior looks great!

I like the color too. Haven't owned a blue one before.  The paint looks great from 20 feet... There is one tear in the driver seat that we hope to mend, otherwise the interior is really good.

Never to many if you have the room. That interior is

I decided to buy a "nice" Jeep for once.

Well, apparently 5 Jeeps was too many... Neighbor was looking for an XJ and after after a couple months of neither of us finding nice cheap ones in good condition locally (one was sold just before he went to look at it), offered to let him come take a look at a couple of ours. Let him take this blue one home for what we paid for it.

But, got some pictures of the entire lineup before we let the blue one go.

Had a relapse. Still feeding the addiction... After selling the blue automatic above, the Mrs. mentioned how she didn't drive the Jeeps because she doesn't particularly like driving stick around town and that I had sold the automatic we did have to a neighbor. My ears perked up at this and understood that I had tacit permission to buy another one. :brows:

Found a '97 2wd automatic. Basically the opposite of the features I normally look for (manual, 4x4), but Uncle Tony's Garage convinced me to give the 2wd a try again (owned one from '06-'09). This is intended to be the around town, mom Jeep after all. Country trim (which is nice), extremely clean interior, 181K miles on the 4.0L, some blemishes on the exterior, but not bad for 29 years old. The Mrs. likes it! :L:

Back to needing to sell 1-2 Jeeps...

Already ordered the 12x7 USA flag magnet that's going over the clear coat blemish on the tailgate. America!

2 of the tires on it were garbage so swapped them out with some old ones I had in the family "tire shop." The spoke wheels look good on it and the old tires will be good enough for around town for now.

While changing the tires, I noticed that the bump stops were... kinda not there anymore. That's the biggest issue so far.

In other news, I'm not particularly thrilled with what the neighbors have done to "my" previously owned blue Cherokee. But the good news is I get the stuff they take off. I'm going to put the front fender flares on the Comanche.
