Anyone here NOT want to know the dealership that sold originally their truck?

@eaglescout526 and myself are going to start going threw the registry and add the original selling dealer, those of you who would rather us not put the original selling dealer in the VIN entry please let either of us know.

I would like to add as I mentioned in my first post, 86’s have been giving problems with this info. So if you own an 86, the dealer info may or may not be available. Not much we can do about it.

@eaglescout526 @jdog Are you still planning to go through the 86 registry? I’d be interested to see what dealer mine was sold through if that info is available. Also thanks for taking the time to get this information, i imagine it’s pretty time consuming.

Its probably a few more seconds consuming than adding the build sheet. We will still do the 86's as some could still very well have info pop up. I can say that I tried to pull dealer info for Chunk and there was nothing.

Yeah the older they get it seems like Chrysler forgets the data, but we will attempt all of em, just no promises, and Pete, yeah it shouldn't take too long, (I hope) but just wanted to verify that everyone would want that info out there, especially the original owners group.

I'm supposed to be doing a VIN dig any ways by doing an incremental digit of the last 8 of each VIN until the end of that years production. I got to 300 and something VINs and stopped as that taxed my attention and cognitive functions while doing it lol. But yeah, were crazy addicts and at this point we can't leave no stone unturned.

By dealer info you also mean location correct? I will add the selling locations to the registry list.

Correct, dealer name, city and state will be added like how I have done for a few VINs already.

before you get too deep into this, is there anything else we might add to each thread?  paint colors?  although paint might be easier by running searches for each code.

Minuit came up with the paint suggestion in a different thread. I am currently populating the registry list with that info if it's in the build sheet. I'm going by paint code and what is listed in the parts/service manuals since the description could have changed.

About the only thing left would be if it's under warranty or not(spoiler there not) and if it's been in within the last 90 days. At least on my side of the website.

These don’t exist. I doubt any dealer will have this info either.

Seems like we need a database that this can get entered into that is public instead of the private one. 
 

I have a similar project going for the XJ freedom editions that I need to get organized somehow.

@Sir Sam What private one? This information will be included in the registry list which is updated monthly.
