Local brewery Mast Landing has a peanut butter stout that's excellent! "Gunner's Daughter" I'll drink 2 maybe 3, from a cold glass. They're only available in 4 packs, so. Smokeyyank
Sipping on these two for the evening. First is Lucky Lighter Kolsch style, from Ratio. Pretty decent and super crushable. Went through a sixer in no time. Nightcap was Hyperlink IPA from Cerebral. Good, but nothing outstanding, would say a solid go at the juicy, simcoe, mosaic style. Cheers! Smokeyyank
Out in the beehive state (UT) for a football tournament. Stopped at the Beer bar, because why wouldn't you, sipped a few tasty brews. First was a New Zealand style pils from storm breaker, pretty good, not the best Ive had. Other was a czech style pilsner from bohemian which I thought was exceptional. 75sv1
Had Chimay back in the 80's a few times. I was in Austin for Fall break. A college classmate and I were at Maggie May's. They had just expanded. I ordered a Chimay. I remember it being $12. Jack said that must be some beer. Then the wine bottle showed up. No, it was not a cheap beer like Carlington Black label. Smokeyyank
Came up to the PNW for a little trip with the fam. Staying on Whidbey Island. Had to grab some local brews. All good but by far my favorite was the Kascadia Kolsh. Probably one of the better l, if not tue best, Kolsch styles I've had. Really liked the Uccello Italian puls as well. PFreim lager was exceptional as well, there pils was meh. Great little trip will drip some car pics from my uncle in law in another tread.
