We picked up a new “project” this week, a Scrambler. 4.2L, manual, 4x4 with 11,000 original miles...  1st step is wait for the rain to clear up and take it to see if the paint can be brought back to life.

C'mon now.  You can't just tell us you picked up an 11,000 original miles Scrambler without giving us the back story!  Don't be such a tease.

My phone autocorrected 4.2 to 4.0 (guess i google 4.0 too much lol).

I don't know the whole story, this is my old mans purchase... All i know is he bought it from the son of the original owner. The original owner passed away and apparently after much fighting between siblings the guy in our neighborhood got it. The day it showed up (over a year ago) my old man was drooling over it. They wouldnt sell it, after holding onto it waiting for a family member to get the cash together he finally offered us the opportunity to buy since he knows we also have 2 MJ’s and a Wagoneer

 ! It looks like it’s in amazing condition. I have been trying to respond with something for five minutes, but this says what I can’t :jammin: A dream buy for sure.

Head over to CJ-8.com and make a lot of people green with envy.

Stunning find.  It does look like 1,100. IMHO, the interior is the optimal color. Garage kept for 39 years?

Yes i was referring to the new gladiator jeep being based off the scrambler. But thanks for the clarification.
