I have this radio in my Lil gas miser Mazda.

Its a nice unit, I had a dealer put a Alpine head unit in my wife's Libby. When we went to pick it up, this was in it. She said it was OK and took it. Some months later, she didn't like it. SO, she got another new radio and I got this... But its works well, I just prefer Alpine head units.

where di you order the add a leafs for the rear, and how many springs did you have to add to give you the 4.5"?

they are the RE xj aal for a 4.5 inch kit. thats what you want to order. i believe i have a 4 or 5 spring pack. one more than stock

and yeah its a nice unit for the money. i just wanted cheap tunes

hey I'm new here and wanted to know if you wer around the rock hill area and if you wanted to meet up and do some wheeling some time,well once i get a rear end in, shoot me a pm if ya want to, the truck looks good btw.

You Oughta post answers for some of the questions other members posted about your reman engine (Up there ^) - I'm interested in hearing about the choice you made and what all you had to go through to get it too...

well this week i trimmed my front flares and tested my tires. in some mud and dirt :D then two days later i destoryed my turdy five on the pavement.... so now I'm looking for an axle

DO NOT PUT A DANA 35 BACK IN THERE. (That was in caps because I was yelling it.) Dana 44, Cryco 8.25, or Ford 8.8, any one of those can be had for <$200. There is a reason it broke.

no need to yell. i have been waiting for that turd to go out. but now I'm stuck b/w those 3 axles.... what should i get?

Whichever one you can find with a better gear ratio in it. Then get a front to match. :thumbsup: And upgrade those front shafts if you haven't yet.

I'm thinking 8.8 disk brakes, possibly limited slip and 4.10s... but we will see. and what year do you find the bigger shafts? and do u look for abs or no abs, i can't remember

All explorer axleshafts are the same strength. Other Ford products have the lesser versions (like rangers and Aerostars) 95+ have the disk brakes. :thumbsup:

ABS doesn't matter for our trucks. You just snip the wires to the sensor if it's there.

ok. thanks. what about the d30 front. isnt there a certain set of years with the bigger shafts, and to find them its abs or no abs? i can't quite remember :dunno:

Oh, I thought you were talking about the 8.8 shafts. :doh: I think the rule of thumb for the bigger Dana 30 U-joints is ABS and/or 96+ :thumbsup:

monday was a good day! we had an 8.8 pulled in an hour and a half with out to much trouble... now it just needs to be rebuilt.... and I'm missing all the ebrake parts :fs1: but for $75 i can't complain!

well friday my gears came in and today(monday) my perches came in!! jeepinoutfitters is an awesome place to do buisiness awesome customer service and fast shipping! hopefully this weekend the 8.8 will be regeared and cleaned up some!
