I can understand the odd thought of making it a limo, but I cannot reason why a bed was fashioned onto it. Why not just end with the standard XJ hatch and call it good? 

 

The bed is totally useless and I feel all the extra work to make it happen was wasted time. There isn’t even a working tailgate! 

 

Why is the hood never fully closed?

Such a missed opportunity for an MJ bed.  XJ rear ends are just not meant to be a truck bed, never looks right.
