NEO auto Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 Does anyone have rear window louvers? I would like a set for my 1987 I’m restoring. Here’s an old brochure pic to show what I’m talking about.
rylee144 Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 This might be a spot to check. https://www.sfxperformance.com/catalog/style/Exterior~Styling/Louvers/Jeep/page_1.htm

I like those, but I would really like an original set. Here is a picture of the original.
Mossmj13 Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 Original part number 8982200663 sold for 171.69
NEO auto Posted March 10, 2019 Author Posted March 10, 2019 I looked at the reproduction louvers. Not sure if the image is correct. It says it will work with a Comanche. Do you guys think it would look right?

Or can find them I'm guessing these didn't sell very well when new, but a junkyard or checking with any of the parts hoarders on here.
Strokermjcomanche Posted October 22, 2020 Posted October 22, 2020 There is a company in Texas that's still sells louvers , Comanche specific too . I'll try and find a link .

fiatslug87 Posted October 22, 2020 Posted October 22, 2020 I know of one member (hasn't been on since 2018) that has one. His name is Sugarfoot, I tried pming him a year ago about the louvers but no response.
500 MJ Posted October 22, 2020 Posted October 22, 2020 @CactusComanchehas a louver on Street Comanche #20. No idea where he sourced it from, maybe he can chime in here?

89 MJ Posted October 22, 2020 Posted October 22, 2020 Hey @eaglescout526, don’t you have some? Are yours stock?
eaglescout526 Posted October 22, 2020 Posted October 22, 2020 Mine is also one of the aftermarket pieces. I wish it was the OEM one. Would look sooo much better.
The86manche Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 Is there anyone who could scour the mopar database to see if any nos kits exist?
eaglescout526 Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 Been there done that. Ive scoured every accessory part from 82200001-82201000. Even looked at the number listed and theres none out there.
The86manche Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 Bummer. Weird how an accessory part just doesnt seem to exist. What is the part number?
eaglescout526 Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 82200663 is the number. It’s not that it doesn’t seem to exist it’s more of the demand for the part. If the demand wasn’t there, there wasn’t a need to make a lot.
