Ordered an AMC/Jeep/Renault buyer guide on eBay and found an cool snippet about the Comanche before it was released.

That off-road decal in this manual looks pretty cool if you haven’t made this yet. 
 

Also this has good info. I thought Chrysler was blowing it out their butt to call the AMC engines “power tech” to remove the history of AMC but looks like AMC was already calling their 4.0L “power tech”

I also thought it was interesting that the 4.0 had a reusable valve cover gasket. Also the difference between the heavy duty radiator 19 fins/inch and the standard 15 fins/inch.

Very cool read.  I also like some of the diagrams of the transfer case/transmission.  Let me see what I can spin up...

@boxyjeep pretty sure the sticker that made it on to jeeps was a color version. Like this

I do have an 70 something page long 1988 AMC/Jeep/Renault dealership accessory which covers literally everything a dealership could get their hands on which includes part numbers which is very useful for setting eBay notifications if someone lists said part that I'll be uploading to the internet archive in a little bit

I have the original warranty and owners manual for my Comanche and it had 20 miles on the odometer when it was delivered/sold. If any North Carolinians near Hickory know the salesman or the original owner I wouldn’t mind getting in contact.
