MJ Coming Up on Barrett Jackson Palm Beach

I sees a D35. And an AMC DNR radio. And that bumper looks like it's seen some action and was then repaired.

Why are these Barrett-Jackson trucks always built like this? "restored" is such a cheap word these days. What they really mean is "molested to my taste, probably not properly, then painted, probably cheaply"

over inflated tires, tailgate gaps are off, headlights are crooked. 2wd, bent rear bumper, note the control arm angle....will ride like a peterbilt.....why the H**L is this thing even on barret jackson?

Because Barret-Jackson is in the business of "turning over" special interest vehicles.  That is how Barret-Jackson makes their money!  The high end sales attract a lot of middle and lower end sellers.  Buyers come because we all "think" there may be some good/special value in all the weeds that we can just fix up a little and have a gem.    Maybe the seller will get his money - maybe not.

The MJ was Lot #621 scheduled on the docket for today, and they started the broadcast with vehicle Lot #623. So I guess the MJ wasn't worthy enough to televise.  Bastids...........

EDIT: Searched Palm Beach Event Results; the MJ sold for $10,450.00.
