HOrnbrod
Based on the quality of the opposition, I voted for for this guy. Will be interesting to see how this goes.......

Jeepman
I thought from the day I heard he was running that he would win, interesting how quiet the nay sayers got once the pole counts were coming in... The next few years are going to be interesting that's for sure...
DirtyComanche
I called it when his nomination was sealed and stuck with that belief ever since. Mixed feelings on everything. I think Southpark's take on the candidates and election process is fairly accurate. yellaheep
I agree with quite a lot of what he says. I just dislike the manner in which he says it. America's reset button needed pushed in a big way. I think it got pushed. But yeah..... it will be an interesting 4 years. Laughed my keester off this morning hearing that Canada's Immigration information web page crashed moments after the presidential win announcement. All those half-assed "Americans" trying to research leaving the country and they overloaded the site. Good riddance. Let Canada experience an influx of super entitled immigrants. 87MJTIM
To our friends in the Great White North, will build and pay for a wall to keep us Americans out? (Note: the Great White North is for the snow. It is not a comment on the racial composition. I do not want to be called a white, male, republican [which I am].) DirtyComanche
To our friends in the Great White North, will build and pay for a wall to keep us Americans out? Normally the winters cause people to leave on their own. It's like the gulags in the USSR, security was low because you would freeze or starve to death if you tried to escape.. Same concept if you try to sneak into Canada. :rotf:

Minuit
I despise both of 'em. I've just come to peace with the fact that no matter who wins, I won't be happy for one reason or another. The South Park clip nails it for me too. At least I can still find ammo for sale with the loud orange clown being elected.

We need Supreme Court Justices who interpret the constitution in the spirit it was written. I just hope firearm prices go down...

Knucklehead97
I prefered Trump over Hillary but I voted for neither. Voted, still, but voted for neither. Being Libertarian I'm never happy with the way the election turns out.

Being Libertarian I'm never happy with the way the election turns out. I was definitely disappointed by the 3rd/4th party showing. Both the mainstream parties definitely shouted "A vote for 3rd part is a vote for (Trump/Hillary)" and it seems it sunk in a bit. I personally feel it would do the US better if you wound up with 4 legitimate parties that represented something more like the 4 corners of the political spectrum. I know many Libertarians that jumped ship and voted for one of the main parties. I just wish we could get on the debates. You know, just give us a chance. But that's cool.

Basically, it's another big step to actually being heard, and being considered a legitimate party. Or something like that, I'm Canadian, I get confused with how your system works at times. :dunno:

Yes, that is frightening. And this time they elected a disgrace, but seem happy to do it. Guess there was a reason why Alexander Hamilton believed government should be by the "Rich, the Able, and the Well Born".
