I'm too old, I'm not into loud mufflers anymore. So for me whatever I have stock replacement muffler. I want my truck quiet, it has enough noises inside and out I don't need to make extra noise  :rotf:

I had a flowmaster on my TJ I hated it... way too loud. and awful drone. went to factory exhaust.

I have a magnaflow dual exit on my MJ I like it a lot. idle sounds nice. under load it sounds throaty. and at cruising it is silent with no drone.

^^ this.

I run the quietest one I could find when I replaced mine a few years back, as I don't want to be that neighbor warming up a noisy/obnoxious vehicle at 5:30 am.

Magnaflow stainless for me. Running 2.5" from the downpipe back with a 18" glasspack in place of a cat and a pretty large turbo style behind that. It's pretty deep sounding for a 4 banger, but it is kind of loud at parking lot speeds. My body and tires are louder at 60mph, though.

Here are 2 clips where you can hear my Exhaust :

Low RPM idling crawling

High RPM

That sounds really good for a 4 banger

Magnaflow ( part number)14225 dumped right before the rear axle pointing down at a 45 degree it nice smooth sound at all RPM's, not too loud just perfect.

I just installed a Thrush Turbo muffler on my 2.5L.  Not bad but a little louder than I would like for this particular truck.  I will probably switch it out at a later time.
