I'd do it just to keep it out of the junkyard. Of course if it did go to the junkyard I wouldn't have to go very far... :)

I would pay $475 for it. If it were closer.

Jim, if you directed your focus from saving stray MJs to saving stray animals, you would be the patron saint of the animal kingdom.

I see no dilemma here. You can put the keys under the welcome mat any time this weekend.

:fs1: I was going to check it out tomorrow, too. Probably got about $300 for it, and the taillights alone are probably worth that. Gotta figure out where he took it!

People are stupid. Who scraps a running vehicle... oh wait. I see it every week at my PAP. drives me insane. That last manch i found there was nicer than mine. :fs1: and mine is no junker.

Don't know about the rest of the country but should be pretty close to the same. Here a complete vehicle across the scales will bring $280. Regardleess of weight. Scrap gets $200 a ton. P&P pays $400 for complete vehicles. Must have title.

Ftpiercecracker - Do you know where it was scrapped? If NashvilleP&P, I might have to arrange a "bidness" trip up that way!

sorry bud i sure don't, ad said he was in columbia. Your best bet is to google the salvage yards in that area, askin for a blue comanche.

neither one was anything to get excited about. ive bought way better mj's for a lot less. at the same time it would have been nice to keep that one out of the scrap pile. i wouldnt feel too much like you lost-out though. I'm struggling about one here for $200. 4x4, factory roll bar, shortbox.
