  1. Sounds good shelby. Thanks again gang.
  2. Thanks guys for all the kind words. I'm stoked to have my rig on here for MJOTM. Lots more to come this year. Lots of wheeling pics comin too. :)
  3. Clean truck. Jeez talk about a survivor. Congrats on starting 2016 off right as MJOTM for jan
  4. Sweet manch. Love that exhaust. Plan to do the exact same thing soon. Thanks for the great pics.
  5. That engine will make WAY more than that with ease. What boost are you planning on? id put a 10 lb spring in the wastegate and tune there. See what you get. t3/t4 junk turbo we had laying around, on a buddies junker B20 honda motor. STOCK everything, on pump gas. Totally safe tune... 12 psi it made 300/300 at the tire. thats a 2 liter. lol So yeah you will have quite a bit of power id guess. That turbo isnt in its efficiency range till about 15 psi. So you will barely be using it. You have a good tuner nearby? tune is everything. Hope it turns out great. Need a tuner LMK. Dave
  6. def don't cut anything on that. Sell as is or just make it a driver. Driving "as is" barn finds is huge right now. This would sell for good money at pomona swap meet. This is the stuff i do, enjoy doing for a living. Find and drive em. They tell a story. Power wash/steam with soap. Then use garden sprayer to soak the nest areas with bleach. Let sit a day or 2. Wash again. Ive cleaned some NASTY rodent nests out. Where i grew up we had huge pack rats in the forest and they made nests in so many rigs ive owned. Great find though and story to go with it. :)
  7. Junk yard. Find a manch of same year and snatch out the sender. Ill keep my eyes peeled at our local yards. If i find it ill PM ya. :)
  8. gettin there. Been healing up from injury. So now I'm soon to get back on this thing. just been daily driving it. Thanks for the kind words gang. :)
  9. Yup eric is awesome. Thanks guys. I'm anxious to get the rear trim and bumper done soon. then front and sliders. Bumpstops too. Its like... its done....but its NOT done. lol. Driving it on the pavement is boring.
  10. thanks coll. been busy so i havent been on here much. More pics comin soon
  11. ^^ agreeeeeed. Today was a good day. Replaced the intermediate shaft bearing for the disconnect and the seal. Stop 90 weight from oozing out everywhere. Did first oil change in the d44, 250 miles break in. Also welded up about a 1.5 inch long crack right on top of the collector on the header. Noticed my mpg had gone down about 6 mo ago, changed the 02 sensor at that time. but i had heard some fluff when id start it cold. crawled under and started floatin my hand over the exhaust. OOOOOO..... theres the leak. Could see it with a mirror. directly below the intake manifold. pulled airbox and moved fuel lines. Some creative hand posture and welded her up. WAY better. Shall see what mpg it gets as i leave friday morning for redding CA. 700 miles drive in one day. My best on this trip in the past was 23 mpg. avg 21. With original setup. I'm sure it will be much lower now, but we shall see just how low in a few days. Ill keep yall posted and some good pics from norcal. May do some wheelin with my lil bro while in the area. :)
