neohic
Underhood, interior details... all the way down to how many miles are on it, exhaust from the rear axle back, tire carrier showing both how the spare fits in the carrier and locks in to how it is mounted in the bed, more pictures of the racer back like how the lights are mounted, the best he can do of taking some pictures of the inside of the headlight buckets, maybe some pictures off the grounds and more in some forest type of setting, and flex shots... just stack up some pallets or something. Brandt is the man! All hail Brandt!
AMCJeepMJ
Well guys, any more shots you want before they tuck it back in? Rob Bikini model lounging on the hood? Clear shot of the VIN? Ground-level [worm's eye] shot of the right front quarter with wheels turned to the left with nothing but blue sky in the background?
Pete M
FYI – Per the posts on the thread, we have added 2 extra armed guards and don’t forget, we’re in Detroit. The entire city creates a defensive perimeter. Brandt :rotf:

HOrnbrod
Yep, I was curious as to why they used that steering stabilizer rather than the stock one. They welded a special bracket for it on the axle tube and used u-bolts on the tie rod. Anyone have a clue why? :dunno:
JeepcoMJ
That style of stabilizer works better and isn't subject to binding while flexng as the angle doesn't change as much. It's also too big in diameter to put in the stock l/c. I would like interior pics. You're able to gleam most of the details of exterior view from google pics.... shelbyluvv
I would like a pic of the title with my name in the owner block. I will be there to pick up the truck shortly. What a cool piece of MJ history.
HOrnbrod
That style of stabilizer works better and isn't subject to binding while flexng as the angle doesn't change as much. Well yeah, understand that. It just doesn't make sense on the Thunderchief concept; definitely not intended for a flexi-maximus rig. And yes, I'd like some interior pics too if possible. I would like a pic of the title with my name in the owner block. I will be there to pick up the truck shortly. What a cool piece of MJ history. Wouldn't we all Bo.

HKB3
It is a clean truck but I think MJ's look better without all that moulding/ground effect stuff going on.
neohic
4wd Action thread However, the factory does have the molds and if enough of you elbow your local dealers a similar version might be in your future. Does Brandt have the molds too?
mfpdm
I don't understand what's going on here: It took a while to figure that pic out but it has dual steering stabilizers. One on the tie rod and one on the drag link. Would like to see a pic of the whole set up. They might of thought it needed two with those 33's. Very sweet truck anyhow. Nice job Rob. You can tell them I would store it for them so they wouldn't have to worry about it being in the way. :brows:
Automan2164
So, for the email back, we have: Interior Odometer VIN Drivers door sticker Broader shots of the front suspension Exhaust rear axle back Engine Compartment Under the tonneau cover Racerback / How the lights are mounted Any details possible of the headlights under the cover Ground-level [worm's eye] shot of the right front quarter with wheels turned to the left with nothing but blue sky in the background Do you guys have any questions? Understand that he may not be able to answer all of them, but it doesn't hurt to ask. I would like to have some sort of a formal email out to Brandt by tomorrow at the latest. neohic
^ Maybe not just the exhaust from the axle back but also everything else of what's going on from the axle back... like the backside of the roll pan. I don't suppose Brandt would be willing to remove the goofy rivited panels to show how the mounts are figured on the side steps?

Automan2164
As of last week, he asked for my addy again, so I am going to assume that something is on it's way. I also inquired about it's creators or team, and he said he initially asked when it came into the collection, and no one knew. He did say he would ask around again though. whowey
I'm not much of a fan of this truck. Lots of plastic, hack CA drop brackets.... Looks gaudy with all the light covers and ridiculous body kit. Those body kits are for street Comanches! The only thing in my opinion that's cool is the fact it's a concept... I'll take a red and black chief with rollbars. (real steel ones) I agree. Oh... good lord... I'm agreeing with Wade and Austin. Its a cool concept... but not my bag of cookies.

ohiostate454
I'm thinking that is the mighty FC concept truck out in the background Peterson just did a full write up on it I could be wrong tho. That tonneau cover was pretty sweet with the tire mount in the middle.

Alexia
NICE! Glad he is willing to work with community fans and be so accommodating. Lots of the craftsmanship shows were they put in the most effort for show looks and did simple behind the scenes magic for what people would not see. Such as the pieces of wood taped into place to prevent the bed cover from sagging.
mountainman
Man you guys are FAR nicer as a group than many of the other forums I'm on. This is known as an abortion in my world. There is even a corral at VW events for these kinds of vehicles. "the abortion corral" People bring these types of 70s and 80s space shuttle trucksarossa styled heaps and park them in the corral for everyone to laugh at. Some are downright defensive of such machines, but most of us just can't stop laughing. This is reminiscent of the mighty snorkelstang. lol.
