I haven't paid much attention to the weather across the country this winter, but here in Kansas it is much like spring. I can't get over how nice it is!

I had to snap a picture of my DD yesterday when I got home.

With the highs hovering around 55-60 it been a while since I have had my windows in.

This time last year was a totally different story:

So is anybody else experiencing a crazy winter?

I've been in a cut off and jeans all week! I was talkin to my mom about how Kentucky doesn't get snow. Then she told me Ohio got slammed with snow over the weekend and it's nice and warm and everything melted now.

SNOW??? Why would anyone want snow and cold weather!? I love this 50-60 degree temps were having in MD. My garage isn't big enough to pull my Jeeps all the way in, so I have been working outside because its sooo nice.

Just had to turn the tv up because the ac just turned on. Oh it's like that all the time here. Cold here means you wear socks. Sorry, had to do that. June through Sept. sucks so it's these months that I really enjoy living here.

Snow = salt = rust. But I know y'all rust belt inhabitants can't live w/o more rust. I don't get it.........

that's why we don't drive our gems in winter.

I don't have an mj that's seen the road in winter for years.

Amen to that. And a heated garage.

I have no problem with driving on or in snow. It's the salt that's a bugger. In my area it's a crap shoot. They spray brine on the road three times in a row to get ready for a day of rain. Then it snows six inches and other than plow they don't do anything because they're afraid of going over budget on salt.

But they make the school buses run on 1/2" of freezing rain too, while the police is advising people to not go to work because of road conditions.

Hit 64 here yesterday! I drove around with the t-tops off my Camaro and was in a t-shirt all day! I'm usually still in snowboarding mode but I packed all my winter stuff away

Best to keep this place a secret. It's already too much like heaven. :D

Where was this warm weather last year when I was replacing the transmission in my ZJ in 15-20 degree weather in my unheated shop? Took me twice as long because I had to sit and warm my hands by the propane heater every 15 minutes. Now we've got record high temps for the winter and I'm without a shop...go figure.

Not to nitpick, but at least you had a propane heater in your unheated shop? But I know what you're sayin.

The lows are only down to 50 or so at night and 60s-70s during the day for the last couple of weeks. I like it! But we're getting lots of rain and thunder storms passing through. That's okay - at least they're not tornadoes.......

I had one of those propane radiant heaters - the kind that just screw on to the tank. It was certainly a huge help, but you had to be within a 3 foot radius of the thing for it to do any good. I was too afraid of putting it near the truck since it could melt the plastic trim right off! Was a huge help though to keep my fingers moving.

We've been getting a lot of rain in MD, too. Springtime is going to be a sloppy mess.
